ALL wallets are vulnerable to hacking in different ways if they are not setup and used correctly..

I strongly agree, I believe that your wallet security depends to you on how you use it. In 5 years in crypto, I didn't encountered any single problem of my wallet so it means I'm a good user of it. Just remember security will start to you.

yes it is possible, as many experienced that their wallet is hacked and without knowing its reason. But one thing is for sure, we should keep our private key secretly that we are the only one who knows it. And refrain from going onto suspiscious sites and dont log in the same username and password onto phising sites to avoid your account not to hack.

Any wallet is safe, and what they write is that someone was hacked, and everyone stole it, means that they simply do not have simple security rules.

Crypto is an asset and money that makes anyone want to steal, we often hear cases of hacking wallets, and with this fact it makes us always be alert and divide crypto in many places.
Division crypto is not too rational action. Since it is impossible to remember everything and you will have to use information storage tools to store passwords and other information about wallets. The best storage is a standalone wallet. Until the thieves find out about them.

nothing is impossible I would say. Standalone wallets can be hacked as well. Malware is so smart now, that it can attack your ledger the very second you connect it.

Just like an account where one's fiat currencies are kept so also is wallet where digital assets or cryptocurrencies of crypto lovers are kept. Can the wallet be vulnerable to hacking and if possible how can that happen? If you have experienced it before, I want to learn from your experience.

I realy have no idea how Blockchain work, yet I was thinking that security of wallet in cryptocurrencies Like bitcoin or Ethereum is inpenetrable. Perhaps they (hacker) use phising link to get seed wallet code or private key this is can be happen.

The answer is a yes na yes, i have encountered this one, and somebody was able to login my MEW account, good thing is i dont have any store tokens in it or an ETH balance, the only thing we can do about this situation is to be careful when opening a website or a wallet website, because there are lots of phishing websites out there, trying to steal your account balance, so be careful in it.

Well i think that if you are using a low security wallet that your wallet can be hacked. There are always various securities who can make our wallet much more secure.
Some wallets really can be hacked much easily as they have low securities.

Yes of course. A cryptocurrency wallet can be hacked. But it depends on its security.
The main thing is, the developer should maintain the wallet security to avoid hackers.

ALL wallets are vulnerable to hacking in different ways if they are not setup and used correctly..

It sounds like you are talking about a web wallet, a wallet on a website.
These are very vulnerable to hacking just the same as exchanges are. They can be hacked by hacking the website itself, ot hacking your computer to get your login details, or phishing you..
They definately are NOT unhackable..

Then you have desktop and mobile wallets..
Besides possible volnerabilities in their code they are only as safe as your device.. So if they can hack your device they can get your coins..
Even if you encrypt the wallet they could still get you with a keylogger or something..
Your device's security is in your hands..

Then you have "cold" wallets.. They can be quite unhackable if done right but you have to do them right..
If your seed or priv key are saved on a machine that the internet can touch, then they are hackable..
If you create them on a machine that was possibly infected or connected to the internet, they are hackable..
They are only unhackable if done right..

Then their are hardware wallets like the ledger and trezor..
Unhackable you might say right?
Well probably if you save your seed offline like write it down on paper, but if you save your seed in a file on a computer that is connected to the internet they can getcha....
Also, a lot of people STILL get hacked using these by trying to claim forks with scam wallets!!!
So you still have to watch what you do..

My choice is the Ledger hardware wallet but I am still very suspicious of the chrome app, and it needing "updates" all the time spooks me..
Seed written on physical paper..

thanks for informative and detailed reply, i will keep all those thing in my mind, this is one of the most important things to learn who begins crypto market

To your wallet is not hacked, it is enough to follow simple rules. Save the site with a purse in bookmarks, do not tell anyone your private key, do not install questionable wallets and applications, use only official distributions.

Most likely the attack will not be affected by your wallet, but your device is accessing the Internet, that is, a computer or phone. The phone is very vulnerable. than the PC, because of not complex antivirus programs and security measures.

Yes ,  I do suggest   it's  more safe  if  you have  paper  wallet  as well  because  personally I don't  trust  web wallets  or digital Smiley  always have   backed up  and  choose  what is the best  wallet.

although we already make this step, hackers still able attack our wallet.they have various technique.we often heard many exchanges hacked and much balance stolllen.

There is no perfect system, everything is still possible for hackers, the important thing is to divide the crypto in some wallets so that if one is hacked we can still hope from the other.

straight hacking into the blockchain is next to impossible.
but phishing attempts and scam, could make wallet hackable.
but wallet being vulnerable in such attacks its not, website offers services or wallets on exchange is possible.

It is possible to crack a wallet only because of your sluggishness and if you neglect security methods. do not blame the developers or anyone else for example if you did not put 2fa on the wallet

indeed there is no perfect system, it's good that we keep our private key well, be careful of the links that we don't know, can be phishing links

Though there's some of coin that the wallet lacking 2fa but there's always another way to make the security stronger. Most of the case of wallet hacking the wallet user is actually to blame not the devs.
So many wallet owner right now just dont give attention to how important the wallet security can be and that can be overall bad if the hacker gain access to so many wallet.

The this is a very important thing to never try to clicking any suspicious link that has a lot of possibilities to that link has already injected by malware to stole our password. These days so many hackers are using the new and old tricks to steal others money.
Try to use the different wallet could be the best thing too.
