I think the current market situaiton is getting better after the biggest crush in january 2018. The prices went deep and it has starting to have recovery in last few months.. In some how the bitcoin catched +$5000 and the Ethereum +$180.. If you check the coinmarketcap right now you can see there is red market but i think this wouldn't be too long, the recovery will continue..

I don't think the market situation is going to improve in 2019. It has been horrible since March 2018 and I don't see any positive change even for a month.
