Yes they joined and invested to the market because of the hype that they have heard and saw. They keep on buying without any plans of getting out as soon as they make profit. The greediness lead them not to sell during the all time high days and it made them felt bad for it. That's why there's too many of them that until now can't get out and even cursing the market.

I'm sure what makes it abnormal are the auto-trading bots. They profit easily by using these bots. Of course they have invested money to get those bots working but I believe the auto-trading bots are what causing the sudden rise and fall instantly. Not all people can just trade all day, that would be a very boring job and you have to monitor a lot of altcoins.
