Bounty tokens are highly varied. Some projects are never going to last so you want to dump those coins quickly. However, there are some good ones out there and the price will rise if you have the patience to hold it
if you consider what you said, then what's the point in these coins?  If projects really go into oblivion, then how can they be sold, if no one will buy them.

Etherdelta or Forkdelta was always a good place to sell some shitty tokens for me. But if a project really fails to deliver and the bounty tokens are basically worthless, it also makes no sense to sell the tokens anyway.

These days with the existence of more number of exchanges it is possible to see the tokens listed to any of the exchanges. Here the problem is the trade support, there won't be fund allocated for the trade support. With this users just open the trade, and it takes lot and lot of time to execute the trade. Also the market price and the exchange price used to show a big difference.

I have sold my bounty tokens before they got dumped badly on exchanges so I don't consider it as a profit or loss because I just check the ICO prices and the price of my coin at the exchange. I feel bad for many tokens as they were pumped by 500% after I sold them and when I could earn $100000, I sold them at $120 while others reached $10 from $1000. Can't say which tokens will reach what value and hence it's better to sell them as you earn them.

You are saying it's better to sell them as you earn them but in your case you sold some bounty rewards for $120 when you could've made $100 000? I know this is probably 1 project out of 1000s but for me this would be reason enough not to dump everything as soon as I get it.

Well, we can't blame ourselves if we sell it because we need money as a bounty hunter, so if you earn from bounty and you believe
the price is undervalued, you should have more patience, you should not rely on bounty alone as your source of income as mistakes like this could happen.
If you have another source of income, you can treat your bounty coins as your investment and wait until it pump.

what I do with the token from the bounty, I usually sell it at the beginning of the distribution, but if it is already a big drop, I can only wait and choose to trade other assets.

If you have free Bounty tokens, would you sell at a loss? It can have advantages or disadvantages to sell at a loss: to avoid more loss but also to realises losses.

Personally I would wait for a better overall crypto market and sell later, because it's a bear market right now. If price rises again you can make a better profit and get more money back per coin if you wait and sell later. Market recovery will be positive to many good projects.

What's your strategy to make most profits now?
First of all, its free. Where will be your loss? Loss because the price of the coin plummeted from its original ICO price? Is that what you are saying?

Anyway, my strategy when I get my tokens from bounty program is that I sell 60-70% of the coins depends on how good the coin and how active. I always save a percentage of my rewards for the future in case it will rise in the future.

That's because I did not buy those coins and earned them so in this case I only get profit. Investors on the other hand have to look out for profit and the coin which I was talking about was PRL that had only been listed on Etherdelta and when it got listed on bigger exchanges, it pumped like hell. It was during early 2018 and since then selling coins has never been profitable. I dump everything right now as the market won't be able to recover for a long time till may be 2020-21 and I can't be so patient till then as my country has anyways stopped banking all cryptos.

In this case, I always remember such projects as AstorGame, as well as Staff GOGO, which really have very good ideas and I hope for their real relevance in society when the team actually launches projects.  But today their coins are practically not valued at all.  But on the etherDelta can be sold for a certain amount, but it is practically what to give them for free.  It makes no sense to give something that might be appreciated sometime.

Ahh I can remember Oyster Pearl. I guess such an opportunity hardly will come back (if ever). But I still think it can make sense to hold bounty tokens of promising projects until the next bull market comes in full swing.

Sometimes bounty hunters face about challenges after they receive tokens, like the token trading far below ICO price and they end up with little or nothing. Sometimes the token won't be worth anything and it keeps on dumping every minute. All this affects the decisions we make, to sell or to hold. Sometimes we sell some and hold some. It all depends on the situation.

Right, it depends on the situation when we think that it is not worthy to hold then sell. Many project did not succeed because of no value after it listed in the exchange. Some after Ico sales price drops so it leads most to the investors of losing money. So if it is not worthy project sell early and if really promising it is good to hold.

At this time it is rather difficult too, that as a bounty hunter it is sometimes a dilemma when receiving tokens, the price of tokens obtained is mostly below the ico price, so if held for a long time the price is less valuable, it is necessary to do a little research we will do it after receiving, do you need to be detained or even directly sold. so as a hunter the prize is not in vain.

of course, research is needed, because the development of the ICO project is usually a minimum of one year to be able to see their market growth. if there is a project that has no development for 1 year maybe they are dead. holding bounty assets for too long will also be confusing because it might not get anything, but there is a possibility of getting bigger.

How can you sell coins for a bounty campaign at a loss? you get them for free. Even if they fall to zero, you still will not remain at a loss.
If the basis is that the coins received are free, that is also not true, because we have also helped the project so that investors can buy it, so it deserves the benefits.
maybe most of what a bounty hunter does usually sell it immediately as soon as possible, even though the price may be below the price of ico, because many worry that it will become worthless and even lose.

In the past, selling tokens at a loss was almost never experienced, but after many scam projects and then the bear market came to power in the crypto market, selling at a loss became commonplace. Not only that, at least I also invested in several ICO projects, at first the project promised that tokens would have good value that would allow me to get good profits too. But after their token was listed in an exchange the value wasn't good enough and I decided to keep holding it even now.

I still don't get what people are talking about with 'selling bounty token at a loss'. I mean, you got the tokens for nothing (just supporting a telegram or retweet) so anything above zero would be a gain.

Saying if you kept it the price would've been higher doesn't really count - it could also end up lower or being worth virtually nothing. I'm sure a lot of people lost out if they held from 2017 to late 2018.

We have got a lot of golden opportunities. Not only oysterp pearl but there was a lot of campaigns in 2017 that worth a lot of money. as long as the token is promising and we must hold it but when it's a crap cion and then sell it.

IMHO now not the best time to sell anything. Everything will cost much higher after BTC grow.

I'm sure a lot of people lost out if they held from 2017 to late 2018.
it seems to me that if the participants of the Bounty company sell their tokens at low prices, knowingly knowing that the Price may be higher in the near future, then this is almost disrespect for their work.  Perhaps the bounty campaign in social networks is not a difficult job, but if you take into account the company signature, translation or writing a blog, then this work requires not only time, but also some knowledge.
