please do not defend them.
yes i saw they said that "we (DAYUN) will sell only 2400 pieces device no more.there will be no second batch of z1"
and then most of people bought. what happened they sold same machine as z1 plus.(it was second batch)
we would not want to get guarantee income for 12 months but it did not even go just one month.
we do know asic and asic companies. but this is more than those.

Besides: You couls also buy them used from frustrated buyers for a low price. Thats what I do.

indeed... and i payed 6k :/ what a first experience with an asic... if only @zigminer could close his farm or lets say his factory with 200000000 z1's we could have a bit more profit as the difficulty could low a bit... :/ what will haooen when vertcoin leaves the algo? the Z1 ready for the trash dump?

as you said below, we wait the autorestart option for low hashrate and hashboard.

i wonder that will these machines able to run lyra2rev3 in near future or any other algo.

about overclock , maybe next version. i need more test .
about hashrate goes down ,  just config autorestart , if hashrate low , auto restart will slove this problem.

Before my miner stopped working (Fan Check Problem - now solved with version 20181116), i was running Firmware 20180930.
Firmware 20189030 was the first version with a working overclocking.

You can set the MHz at 1000, it shows 100Mhz on the Mainpage of the miner BUT it does not work.

@1000Mhz: ~7,1GH/s using ~1400W (Chips ~3-4°C hotter)
Working OC, needing more power and getting a bit hotter...perfect.

I'm happy that you solved my problem with the Fan Check option.
But...yeah, the performance is gone cuz we can't overclock the miner with this firmware.

And i have again the problem that at some point the hashrate goes down and i need to restart the miner so many times b4 it's back to normal.

Compare our profit per TH:
October 1 is about 1.7463 BTC
December 1 is about 0.2717 BTC

That means, a reduction of about 6.4 times our daily profit in 60 days ( 0.2717 x 642% = 1.7463 BTC ), only 60 days
And this is a disaster
For a company that wants to compete with companies like Bitmain and Innosilicon.
