The ICO team must be able to balance between conceptualization and performance in the field. An ICO that is designed so well and attracts it if it is not good at designing strategies to attract investors' attention, it will be useless. ICO competition is now getting tougher, if it can't try as much as possible, the ICO will lose and not sell, which will then die. What is needed by investors is the professional in carrying out the mission, so that the ICO seems promising and can be profitable.

People do not want to invest in ICOs anymore, because no ICO can give your profit, due to such market conditions. I strongly hope, that after the red times are going to end, we will see another wave of hype around crypto.

personal opinion
I don't think every ICO project fails because of a lack of funds because they don't actually need such high ICO funds to run ICO projects or build products.

Investors are waiting for better results of market, they want to see stable growth. I've just seen charts, during november ICOs collected no more that 65 millions.
I couldn't even think about this occasion. Such a low collection progress was caused by market dump.

Here's a good article on this point: https://blog.goodaudience.com/dear-crypto-investors-wise-up-or-get-out-of-the-way-c0d2f0b56eca

It's time for investors to do a little bit of research and talk to those projects who have something to show - no more easy gains. Do your research and the gain will eventually come.

At elrond.com we speak with people who are interested to invest in the long run and see the benefits of the project we develop based on what we achieved to this point. Ask ask ask ask - and ONLY when you have enough answers THEN invest.

Many old investors leave the market, and new ones are afraid to invest. The whole crypto world is waiting for good news from world regulators.

I see that there are many ICOs that fail because of lack of funds even though the concept is good and potential, isn't it if the project is funded and realized the project will be successful and profitable for investors?

The investors now are afraid of investing in an ICO, because there are more ICO's now that is scam. As you said if the ICO is funded for sure many investors will invest to that project because the ICO have some funds to start the ICO. Smiley

a good concept is not the main thing for investors to set aside their money for the ICO, but the development of the ICO they think about, the benefits to be gained and the price predictions that will emerge on the market, so, there are a lot of investors' considerations to invest
Yes, i think exactly like you said, and many investors waiting for good moment to come in.

Investors are waiting in the shadows, they lick their wounds and reflect on the eternal. They are waiting for the right moment, when everything will calm down, and new investment opportunities will appear. To do this, they need to re-learn the trust they have lost in the whole 2018.

I think that with the current slump that we are experiencing for this year, many so called investors have not started investing yet for fear of falling prices. If they invested before the bitcoin slump of November then they may need to wait a little bit more before they can recover.

Good question.  Do you think all the problems of the blockchain, which scared them away, have been solved?  Hackers stopped hacking the stock exchange?  Investors didn’t run far and watch the news very carefully.

Some investors have taken a break now, waiting for a gradual recovery in the crypto market. But even now many investors continue to invest their money, looking for useful and promising projects, despite the strong crisis in the modern crypto market.

Of course, if the project has the support of investors and is constantly improving, every year its value will only increase. A successful project will attract the attention of investors and partners, which will expand its influence and increase the cost of tokens. After a few years of such development, tokens can be very expensive.

If I ask where the investors are going now, there is still a reason that their coins are still holding up now because of the time the price of their invested coins increases their profits.

They are holding their coins and waiting till the market is going to recover or at least to stop falling. It was a very hard year and investors are losing their hope for a new projects, because nothing can give profit on such a market.

The sharp drop in the crypto market really scared many investors. Many projects have not been able to survive, to identify a really good project is now becoming especially difficult. I am sure that now we need to attract regulators to reduce the risks for investors, to restore their confidence.

Investors are much more attracted to price development of an ICO project rather than good concept. They just want yo have profits but some are ended in being loss due to scam ICOs nowadays. Many people are getting afraid to invest now in ICOs.

I think if there was an ICO regulation it would be much quieter to invest in projects and safer , but again it is temporary and soon I believe it will be introduced and investors will appear on the market
