The other investors are not investing because of the failure of the project. For me as I invest in some ICOs I consider the good project with a good value if the project has a good value of token then I will also check if they can reached the price allocation then I will invest on it. But if the project has only good platform then It is not enough for me because I think it has something that is lacking because a nice project for me should have a good platform and good value of token.

I think there are a lot of speculators on the market now. The market is difficult to predict for several years to come, as is the specific ICO. It is necessary that all this be legal, or ICO earned in those countries where there are no prohibitions. Investors need new incentives.

for me 99% of ICO is a waste of time and $$$...
monitor ELICOIN in livecoinwatch for example it's not a ICO or bounty or other similar rubbish...
with research you can always pick one of hidden gems for the next bull run...obviously you can't expect a big grow in % of price in the top 10 o 50 coins...for this you must always do your own research...I don't know when the next bullrun will start but this time I want to make good profits with low marketcap coins...
there are a lot of coins with small market cap ,mining pow, no premine, limited supply, active dev...a coin similar to litecoin, vertcoin or viacoin...as I just wrote in another thread I regret I did not get bought coins like litecoin, vertcoin or viacoin when they were very very low in 2015...today before it's too late I'm continuing to buy ELICOIN mined with CPU ( so it's accessible to all ) for example...only trade it on Crex24 for now....i think it's a good "lottery ticket" to buy for 50$ or 100$ before it's too late....this is the secret....do your research...

You’re out of context since this is not what the questions says

This is an obviously spam for advertisement and not a good behavior, hoping that mods will see this kind of free advertising since this style has been around for long now

About OPs question ,i believe that investors are just playing safety for the simple of reason that market isnt that stable yet, theyre more concern now while many of them had lose funds from January dip

I see that there are many ICOs that fail because of lack of funds even though the concept is good and potential, isn't it if the project is funded and realized the project will be successful and profitable for investors?

Investors are really discourage lately to invest on ICO's due lots of scam. Most of concept are similar as well. Lots of ICO skip with funds. Rest are dropped price after listing on exchange. To be honest it's better to avoid ICO now. If investors never get back their money than how they will invest on others ICO. If some one got scamed, obviously he will discourage from invest on ICO. Scammers are responsible for that. But nothing we can do with scammers. However we should be careful before invest our money on ICO. Don't let scammers to scam us easily. Try your best to deeply investigate a ICO.

If it is the kind of real project, then I think it can be successful. ICO is just a form. Success depends on how much work the team has paid for. If the team's promotion is only through some online promotion, then this is certainly not convincing. I believe that there are many fraudsters in successful ICOs, but more than 98% of unsuccessful ICOs are fraudsters. The ratio between the two is very different.

Investors are very afraid of fraud, so do not hurry to invest their money. It is necessary to detect fraud and punish, so it would be harder to receive new. This is the main problem now on the market.

The investor is tired of scam, and now no one is investing money - only for white paper, it comes time for startups to be more convincing and to have proof of their plans, at least a beta version of the project.

I think the investor is still on many projects, but some of them now is waiting for the right moment to invest their money because, in the last time they invest, they cannot make a big profit. And this is not their purposes to invest because they want to make a profit and this is the most reason for the investor. They can interest with the project but in the end, they think about how they can get the profit from the project and with many ICO has been failed in the past, they consider to wait for a moment and see what will happen in the cryptocurrency so they can decide what they need to do.

Investors are currently not investing in projects, because it is not profitable at the moment and will not bring any profit in the short term. The project can be successful if it is funded, but not the fact that the price of its token will rise.

The investors have all gone due to the market depression and the scam project, if you have the experience invested in the fud project, you never want to invest it again, like as me I have not invested the ICO till the market is recovering.

icos are failing because they have been failing to deliver like all the times , investors are just getting smart and not just throwing away money like in the past and also i believe those who joined after last bull run many are still inexperienced and panic sell easy when they see price falling which could also be contributing towards big downfall of new altcoins but this is a temporary market trend imo

A tough market situation we have right now brings two side effects imo: 1) it washes out projects with no real long term vision and structure (good) and 2) it holds back good projects to evolve and keep track of their roadmap, eventually leading to the decision to stop the project (bad) while I think that the ratio between both scenarios is 80/20 or even 90/10.
The Art at the end of the day for project leaders and fund managers lays in finding the matching partner. Not every investor matches every project. At the same time, you cannot be too picky, otherwise you loose time. Currently, it's a thin path to stay up on track. That's why we are doing our best possible to going that path 👍🏼

In my opinion, most investors prefer to wait out such a market. I think as soon as the growth begins, many investors will appear.

Of course each ICO has a concept, especially profit for investors. However, the current market factors are quite influential in the development of ico, especially there are many tokens that fall after ico ends and enter several exchanges. this causes many investors to choose not to speculate.

ICO now can not be sold like hot cakes like it used to be. The investors are looking very carefully to choose a project, avoiding the scam.

It is not really about the plans, the concepts which is good and has potential, the thing is the trust of the investors and how the project come along. It is not enough that is has a good start it needs to have a sustainability life in order to gain. With this we cannot really say that something is profitable because of what we see.
I think this stagnant market made people a little suspicious about the ICO's which means they are not investing into anything for a while and just let it go until it gets back up to its feet. I think we can clearly assume that investors are favoring conservative investments during stagnant markets.

When the market is going up skyrocketing like crazy you would want to invest into something that can do x1000 or whatever. When the markets are either bear or stagnant you want to invest into something like gold or coca cola or whatever that would be a sure thing. We just need that bull run to see investors do crazy stuff again.

A project is only potential at the idea level, the future operation is based on the team. Of course, ICO projects calling for capital in the Crypto market are now very easy to fail. Because the market goes down, very few people want to invest in ICO projects. ICO projects will soon die in the future.

As we see at the moment, not many projects can boast of their finished product, but if this happened, it’s not a fact that the price of this token can grow significantly, since in such market conditions it is very difficult.

In global level, everyone hold one concern and that is, uncertainty of Cryptos and that's why we need the Institutional Investors so that we can see the stability and when we attain stability then more investment injections will increase.

A good concept is not the main force to gain investor confidence so that investors are willing to set aside their money for the ICO, but the development of ICO is what investors want, the profits to be gained and price predictions that will appear on the market, so, there are many investors' considerations before they decide to invest.
Every project they produce has a good concept and good potential but in this matter still it's not profitable because of the hype in market which it affects the run of what they promote. Investors afraid to show up now because they are still deciding what is good ,they are waiting for the awesome comeback.
