Most of us that come into cryptocurrencies trading have this in mind that when bitcoin is in bearish trend we are loosing money and that is why we are seeing thread of loses in this bearish market.  Few know that you can trade usd/bitcoin and make money in this bearish trend all you just need to do is change your analysis from what you are used to to what is happening now and you will make money.

I can definitely make money in this situation also but the problem is the risk involved here is so much higher so I think taking huge risk for very low profit will not give convenient mindset about trading so I am waiting for a good change and I will continue to trade properly in the future.

now I'm temporarily stopping to trade, because looking at market prices still looks bad and I will hold back some of my altcoins waiting for a higher market price increase.

I hope you will comeback again to trade. It's no reason for you to stop trading temporarily because if you looking yo earn more profit you will buy more that's the best you gonna do not that way of stopping trading. You can try to enter again to trading and add more to the coins that you holding to earn more.

i'm making decent percentages, mostly just doing work for btc that i would otherwise not be doing.
also, got into automated trading to save myself a few headaches, which has worked out decently enough for me once i learned the ins and outs of how to set my trading style.
i figure i can work for btc and store it long term, while trading a bit, so that if the market goes up, all the 1 dollar trades will in the long term be worth 5x, or 10x as much.

But fear not as the bullish cycle is already here. It's time to make money again. Although I think if you are an expert trader, no matter what sentiments we are in, you will always find ways to make money in the market. I did make a money this bear. Before the April 1st pump, I got a lot of profit. I think I profited for .04 btc. I didn't gamble a lot of money since it is bear that's why I only profited that amount. I bought at $4600 and then sold those at $5100 something.

Totally agree with you. Even if it seems that the situation is bad, you should not despair, you just need to think about how to adjust your strategy. Taking any period of time, we can see that sometimes it is profitable to trade to Bitcoin, sometimes to Ether, and sometimes to some stable coin. Just before you open a deal, you need to compare your goals with the position of the main coins in the market.

you dont make money when you use your funds to buy a crypto but you dont also loose your money , you just convert it to crypto in the hopes of earning more interest in the future  .

 the reason why the person above you sells is becuase he already earn from his investment despite the bear market that we experience last time  but for us that are late buyers , the bear market wont be suitable to sell but its advisable to buy  more coins  because the market is now showing signs of recovery  .

Yeah, I'm making money even bear market but its very seldom. Because I don't focus on trade daily, I think it was 3x a week when I do trade in the platform exchange. Then, what I did was I trade Ethereum, Bitcoin and Ada, and so far so good its not that big but it is still good to be consider as profit every week.

You need to be selective and very experienced, if you are to make some good trades in this bear market. Even though bitcoin has passed 5200$, but we are seeing some big drops in altcoins. I would suggest to go for the good volume coins which are at the lowest level and avoid take entry in low volume coins.
