The main reason is bad news, as we know that when bad news comes, make tokens holders fear and choose to sell soon, especially the red market conditions, so most altcoins prices drop.

I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Now that one really has me confused. To me it’s way to early to be selling your altcoins. It’s like selling an original painting before it even gains in value or while it is still gaining in value. What smart investor does that unless they are selling out of fear or because they are desperate. For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?

i guess it depends to the people since selling coins in in early stage can earn easy cash too. most of them is  a bounty hunters and if you are investor you will know the difference of holding coins for good profit in the future or be a trader and to get more coins and profit through trading

i think the answer is simple buddy, because we need money, and got tired of investing on fake or scam ico, whos robed our money.
Why sell at the bottom and get scanty money, if you can just forget about the coins for a while and maybe the wait will pay off completely

Yes, but it is possible that some coins may never bounce back or at least bounce back at a rate consistent with the rest of the market.  So this makes sense for people that feel convinced of the failure or impending failure of their coin.

I think that the reason is not the news itself, but the fact that people are afraid that other people will sell before them.

Selling coins quickly, I don't think that's wrong. Selling coins because they want to buy coins that have greater potential to grow. And sell coins because they have urgent needs so they have to sell coins. And this, in my opinion, makes a lot of sense in the market.
And usually they are sellinig their coins caused by there were urgent needs. But some people were living with a lot of money will never think about that because they have unlimited money.
Just try to think some people use crypto as their main job

Seems risky.

And it makes sense to keep constantly getting losses, because you can use them for sale and further cheap investment, and then again and again. After all, this is how we can sense new undervalued coins and cover expenses a little.

Because I think I am now losing hope on gaining profit on it? But don't be scared, I sell my altcoins in USDT so that I can keep track of the market and still gain income when momentum comes.

I sell off my Altcoin and convert same to BTC  or  ETH to avoid  dumping, but my strategy is to sell 50% and hold the rest, with this I can be sure to take profit and my capital used in investing, also I sell Altcoin when ICO  developers are not consistent with there vision.

That is the strategy, to cover the losses. If you now sell altcoin in fiat you are in a big loss, but if you sell your altcoin for Bitcoin, you probably still can be in a big profit if Bitcoin goes up  Smiley.

it is not necessary that you will be in big profit with bitcoin, because price of alts falling in btc and eth to. there is no profit in selling now.

The answer simply is to minimise loss. People are in haste to sell off their holdings just to cut their loss influenced by bad news surrounding cryptocurrency. But I think it is stupidity to panic-sell just seeing the market melting down. In some cases, the market is made to go down strategically by some for their personal gains. So wait, the market will go up the way it goes down.

Agree, or maybe Panic. These are the only two reasons that came into my mind.

People are in haste to sell off their holdings just to cut their loss influenced by bad news surrounding cryptocurrency.
Bad news is always bad news, but it depends on how we interpret it, sometimes this news could be fake news or we are only exaggerating it
and that will cause us to react in a bad way, like panic.

But I think it is stupidity to panic-sell just seeing the market melting down. In some cases, the market is made to go down strategically by some for their personal gains. So wait, the market will go up the way it goes down.
The market will go down,, it's happening, but I believe it's only for awhile.

The whales is here to save us, since we do not have the government to do that for us, whales will do their power to bring the market up
because afterwards they will just dump it anyway. They have so many weapon to manipulate the price and it's always in their favor.

Selling an altcoin very soon is depend on our decision and our decision is always depend on the market. I believe that the bitcoin market is high on volatility and it is already affect the price of the coin different coin. So I think if we found out that the coin is lossing it's value maybe we need to hold it for good. Because there are many things that might happen in favor of the holders.

Most of the people will sell their coins after listing in the exchange for smaller profit, but if the company has potential in the market then definitely the price of the coin will increase in the market very fastly. I will not sell the coin after listing but i will wait for the company to release their product simultaneously.

if we dont believed to developtment of our token projects we should sell it immediately after its listed in market so we could avoid massive dumping and our asset value decrease.

I believe that the right idea is to sell all the low-grade altoquin. We have to get rid of them to increase the capitalization of cybercurrencies, which really deserve a higher price than they are now.

The fact that they sold it right away is because they actually spent no money. Because there is no cost, they count everything that comes. That's why they sell early and turn to another.
there are many reasons investors sell fast altcoins, probably the most important is very urgent financial needs and maybe also because investors are looking for safe ways to avoid even greater losses

Holders of cryptocurrencies do not trust small altcoins and sell it at the first opportunity. They just do not have trust in the growth rate of these altcoins. Altcoins fell in price much more than the leading cryptocurrency.

I think investors will sell coins for very urgent financial reasons. but if they are thinking of looking safe to avoid a huge loss, I agree with you

It is not every one who has the patience to wait until the market recovers. Some coins are not worth HODLing because the project is not strong they are more likely to die so I think its better to sell them at any price.
