Sell coins quickly because to avoid decreasing the price of coins and avoiding losses. This has been done very often by buying coins that have better potential. I also sell some of my coins and I trade with the top 10 coins because they are more developed.

That if you believe more dump will come, you can minimize the losses but you can buy at dip so you have a good chance to recover your loses when selling it when the price will increase again. That's how the market is moving, it's just so volatile so there's always an opportunity, a trader has to be consistent to be successful and get a decent profit.

In some circumstances, people are selling just to cash out, especially the bounty tokens.

in this case you might be right. most people sell assets that they have earlier to avoid dumping, or want to reduce risk. but some people also use this to buy when prices go down, and sell when prices rise. it is an advantage that they can get from the instability that occurs.

Of course, usually I don't want to sell altcoin cheaply but if the current crypto market conditions require it, I can choose to sell it with  loss, after that I wait new lower price. Hodl cannot be the only option, it requires new trade tactics every period.

It is good to hold coins but its better to create movements with it. The simplest method of making you earn more money in the end is the utility of the coin. Imagine if all people will be holding like you do, do you think you can gain? The answer would certainly be maybe or maybe not. It would be a race to do so. Why because all of you are holding the moment those who have invested earlier sees the opportunity for gaining, the investor might just sell or trade his coins and the person who comes late into investments will have to worry much about when will the coins go to the moon. Right now there are very many projects that are no longer active and that's what I think is what triggers people to sell their altcoins, but certainly not only that makes people sell their altcoins.

I think that 0.2 bitcoin is a very small amount and you just have to choose a low-risk trading strategy and trade all the bitcoins which you have. only like this people get rich

Actually the answers from my opinion are very small and straight forward. If you are investing in Altcoin for less time price and when Altcoin price increases then you sell it. That will be right for you to decide and you will know at what time best your sell options.

I think it's imperative for people to understand that, what makes one profit out of cryptocurrency is selling of digital assets. Its laughable to think that your assets are growing in value when they are unsold and in your wallet. The market is highly volatile and the only way to profit out of the volatility is through buying and selling. You sell at a high value and buy back at a lower value or vice versa. Keeping your altcoin for futuristic higher returns is only logical, when the high return is sure. And in this industry, nothing is sure.

backup plan is important for trading, if at a time the price changes doesn't match your plan, for example you sell faster but then the
price goes up and the backup plan like saving a few percent to be held will benefit you again dude.

Every people have their own reason when selling their altcoin. Perhaps they just want convert to others altcoin or bitcoin, perhaps its because they predicting market still bearish and want to buy back at lower price. Mostly, i am selling my altcoin because want convert to bitcoin because bitcoin is safest investment for long term

Everyone in crypto has their own strategy. Some people prefer to hodl a large percentage of their portfolio in BTC which is like the base currency. Some people prefer to hodl more alts. It's simply a case of what works for you.

For me, I only hodl alts that have huge prospect and not some shitcoins without value. A large fraction of my portfolio is in Bitcoin and this is for me is how I preserve my funds. Again, I sell the tokens with low prospects and hodl the good ones

holding the good altcoins with huge prospects is key. why sell them cheap whiles you know the coin has it all to moon. who knew BNB will moon like it is now when the project started. But as said already, we all got our own strategy.

Not everyone is selling now. The only reason you might need to sell low is if you have a serious need to cater for, else I see no reason why any pone should bother selling so soon.
On the other hand, some newly listed coins are presently trading a good prices, despite being listed newly, if you like you might sell and you possible might not be making any mistake for doing that.
