Hello,
first I want to thank you for your hard work, you have done this very good software.
A few days ago I transferred a lot of my mining rings and I am very pleased with the results so far.
I have difficulty and I would like advice on how to achieve a better results with Saphire RX580 8GB Hynix.
What I have done so far:
1. I did tests with several types of BIOS: custom straps for Hynix whit nice result in ETH, one click BIOS from SRBPolarisV3.5 and PolarisBiosEditor1.6.7
2. I have used configurations 8+8, 8+7, 7+7, 15+15, 16+14
3. My settings are: core 1250/900mV and memory 2250/920mV with no hardware errors

In all cases my best results are 900H/s.  Embarrassed

Thanks in advance!

Try a trick of mine it works on all my rx570/580 and they are above 1khs.
Once miner starts reset the perimeters on your card. Then just change core clock as high as you can vo stable and as low voltage as you can. Dont even bother with memory clock.

I have found changing memory clock does jack shit. I leave it at stock 1750 and lower voltage thats it.
All my rx570/580 get  1050-1100 hashes with stock memory clock. And between 1280-1340 core.

Vega is a different story though.

@Mashy81 What does this do to the power consumption? Does it go up appreciably?

1 particular miner 4x rx570 starts at  3500hs at 450W   I start on 1200/1700
Then reset in Overdriventool  and clocks are 1284/1700  and 980mv  it goes to 4100 at 520W.

I am not sure whats happening here but it doesn't matter what memory clock I start the miner on it is the same result. So if it is as I person said the memory clocks aren't applying underload. I would love to see the hashrate if they did change then. Although I have checked with hwinfo and the memory clocks are changing.
Something wierd going on with my rx570/580 cards with this miner.

Vega is a different story though.

Core clock and voltage can be updated live (while GPU is under load.)  Mem clock cannot.  This is why changing your mem clock doesn't do anything for you, because you're not actually changing it - check the actual clock in HWInfo64.  Despite TRM having placed increased importance on core speeds, mem clock is extremely important for CN mining - more so than core, when comparing clock-for-clock increases and what they do for hashrate.  The problem is that mem clock increases are more tricky, due to dependence on timings, controller speed/voltages, etc.  I have found ideal mem clocks for 580s to range between 2000 and 2250+ depending on mem mfg (and of course which straps you use.)

As for your 'trick', it's addressing the fact that for some reason, power state settings are sometimes not fully honored when load is first applied, but if those same settings are reapplied under load, they stick.  This method can be usefule for initial tuning, but once you find the proper clock/voltage values, simply write them into a PPT, and it will accomplish the same thing.

This not whats happening in my case.
I have started the cards with higher mem clocks and lower mem clocks on my rx cards and acheive the same speed. I have checked in hwinfo to see actual clock on memory. Resetting while under load bumps the speed.
Might hard code the settings I want in bios.
Vegas I do not have this issue. I change everything real time under load and changes happen (as per hwinfo also). Already have PPT table down for vegas. It is nice to change clocks for different algos.

I stand corrected - HWInfo (as well as any other HW reporting) does indeed reflect live mem clock updates (this may have changed w/ recent drivers,) but regardless, the setting change is not actually applied/honored under load.

It is also apparent after additional testing, that mem speeds are not nearly as important for cnv2 as they were for cn/v1, though they do still absolutely make a difference.  Make sure you are aware of timing strap boundary traversal when comparing different mem speeds - w/ a boundary at 1800 for example, 1799 can be faster than 1801, assuming different timing straps above/below 1800.

Guys, does pool hashrate (reported by miner) reflect HWs?

Hi visari!

The pool hashrate in the miner is based only on shares that are submitted and accepted by the pool.
The miner does not submit HW error shares to the pool, so they would not be counted in the pool hashrate reported by the miner.

We test with 18.6.1 under Windows. I can't guarantee it's the optimal one, but I haven't heard of any other driver giving better results in general. For Linux and Vegas, you need to have the recent 18.30 drivers or you'll never get the same performance as under Windows. For other cards under Linux, the driver is not as important.

Dear Teamredminer Dev Team:

Thank you very much for implementing linux support. Today we released TeamRedMiner integration in our pimpup OTA update. It can be installed on existing rigs with just 2 easy commands: `pimpup` and `pimp --add 1201` thus far it is the fastest cryptonight miner for AMD cards that we have. In light of recent issues with older miners like Claymore we are very thankful for your work.

Thank you for a great job of delivering fast, reliable cryptonight mining to our AMD miners! It works great and the API is solid so far in all our testing. Looking forward to more great updates as well!

Confirmed. On RX570 4GB when reseting OverdriveNtool and apply 1230/980 1750/900 hashrate jump from 905 to 999 H/s. And testing trick with lan network: unplug / plugin lan cable when hashing bump H/s from 905 to 930 H/S

yep. and thats where it all goes wrong. efficiency wise, you'll never achieve your client side hashrate to pool side. been there done that. my mixed rig does that. while my uniform rig all samsung is all fine.

yup pool side won't match even though miner end the hashrates might reflect higher.

Sorry about the long wait here. Last few weeks have been hectic, we haven't had the chance to push the new release as we had hoped. Will be a few more days.

I recently bought 2 Sapphire Rx 580 8GB Special Edition graphic cards with hynix memory and can't find any good straps for them. All of the are for ethereum and my max hashrate I was able to get with 1270/2100 clocks are 810 H/s.
Can somebody share their straps for better hashrate?

How is this possible? same cards RX570 4gb all same memory type and bios, 1 card hashing at over 1200+? but average is less, something is wrong i think.

Probably a thread crashed. Try resetting the miner, or lower core/memory clocks by little.

Anyone have a tip about get optimal hashrates on RX 550 4GB and 560 4GB? I'm getting a little bit more than 400 H/s with both 550/560s, in best case scenario. Running RX 560 at 1200 MHz Core, 1980 MHz Mem. 550 at 1200 MHz Core, 2000 MHz Memory.

TeamRedMiner prefer 2+2 on the 550's and 4+2 on the 560's I think. But I manually set them to 3+3 to 550 and 4+4 to 560... Any help?

First, check if the Compute mode is on. Second, from what i have heard, Vegas have issues with drivers past 18.6.1. So you may have to downgrade the drivers.
