What I'm suggesting here is to take all the tokens and coins you're holding and start reading the whitepaper, check the roadmap, see the team behind that project and how active the developers are is by looking at the GitHub repository. If it's not looking that good, don't think twice, just go and sell regardless of initial buy price because you'll be cutting your losses this way.

I understand that saying "hodl" is nice etc but you should use your brain and don't be blinded by the idea that every useless out there will go to the moon. Only a few are worth investing in so instead of holding random coins, you may want to target something that has been here for a long time and still doing well such as ETH, BTC.

Are you joking with me? Is that a good idea to sold our token in a big lost for another ico? ETH and BTC have a lot of problems due to the futures contract that makes both of coins less on its volatility. It's worth for long term.
Why don't you suggest others to do a trade activity to recover their money? It looks even better. I'm feeling doubt about bitcoin because we will see ETF announcement next week.

No this is not the right time to sell because all coins values are very low now. If you sell now means its a very great loss for you. So dont get panic about current situation situation just keep on holding surely the price will be back with tremendous growth. In future the bitcoin will increase and it will touch the moon but it wont happen immediately. It will take some time till that wait with patience.

I feel this is very much a personal call. It won't work for anybody and there will always be skeptical people. But if one can research well into their coins I'm sure will already have taken your advice.

I totally agree with you author. you only need to invest in those coins that have good technology behind them and are useful for the market

I think that actual prices are really too low and if for example I will sell most of my tokens I will have a loss that is more than 75% of buying value. It's not acceptable for me so I prefer to hold them, but you have reason when you say to look at development of the project because if project is inactive/dead is better to sell in that case.

Although the market doesn't look great and it's not the best time to sell crypto, people should clearly not "hodl" tokens from projects that don't stand any chance.
Well, they shouldn't have bought them anyway. I would not read it as a call to sell today, but from time to time the investors should recheck their assets and see if all of them worth keeping.


So the timing is bad, but the logic is pretty good. The title is also badly chosen, but it may be like that to attract more viewers.

Thank you for this advise and information. It is good help to everyone to know which is the potential coin that better to hold and do an action to cut the losses. That can be a strategy that can accept and apply by everyone to do it for their own. I am also motivated from your words.

This is a nice suggestion for everyone. But remember this is just a suggestion, the decision is still in our hands. Whatever we made is because we are decided to do it by ourselves and not because of others. Hodling and selling tokens really depends on what we wants. The author just share his point of view and a little guidelines and reminders for everyone.

No this is wrong it's not proper time to sell.because the market situation is not better and all coins values are very low now.or i maybe this year it's price not back we need to wait next year.

I will not do this. I will hold my coins until i make good profits from these coins. Yes people can invest also some news coins with bright future but i will never sell my coins with loss. I can loose my everything but i will not sell my tokens without profits that is my vision and decision .

I understand the point of what OP is telling you guys. He's pointing to most altcoiners out there that has big part of it on his portfolio. As he said, its your money and you can do whatever you want. He is just reminding you that there is some other good coins and valuable ones to hold.

no now you can't sell because market is very low so all coins price also decreased but you can sell next year,that time market will recover so you should wait,after you can sell your coins.

I personally feel this is not the right to sell your coins. I don't understand why are you so curious of selling in this ridiculous market situation. Think about it don't lose your hard-earned money without profit. You need to have lot of patience in trading, trust me holding coins now is the safest option now. Sell it by this end of the year you will get a good return.

Sell or hold depend on each person's opinion but they should check carefully before making decision. Sometime they know that they should sell them all but unfortunately they can't sell it on any exchange cause it's not listed on any exchange yet or there is nobody wanna buy on decentralized exchange like Forkdelta. LOL.

I would wait some day until the market will come back. because, you see the market still decrease. most of the coin are Price low than previous price. so if you sell now your coin , you will loss your coin. so you needed wait. you should wait some say.

Since most hodlers have held their crypto this long, I would suggest to hodl some more until the market is more positive. But indeed you have the urge to sell, I would wait until the end of this year as the market is always better statistically during this period. I'm confident we will have a better market end of the year.
