YEAH!!!, let's rock with 17Mh/s: GPU 0 - 280x: 41.0C 2263RPM | 5.199M/5.282Mh/s | R:37.5% HW:0 WU:0.0/m T:1 I: 3 GPU 1 - 280x: 43.0C 2283RPM | 5.022M/5.203Mh/s | R:0.0% HW:0 WU:0.0/m T:1 I: 3 GPU 2 - 290: 45.0C 3582RPM | 6.576M/6.742Mh/s | R:50.0% HW:0 WU:0.0/m T:1 I: 3 Config: setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 cgminer.exe --heavy --vote 400 -o stratum+tcp://hvcpool2.1gh.com:5333 -u YourWalletAddress -p x -I 3 I used this one: http://cryptomining-blog.com/wp-content/files/cgminer-3-7-3-heavycoin-windows.zipRunning at I-7 on my 290 and getting just shy of 8mhs, can't say if it will help with your 280x though. thanks helped me, getting 9mh/s on my 290x now not 8, cheers.

i think the price will be positive in the long run because of this, because its still a good coin. soon the difficulty will be so high that people wont be able to get HVC and that will push the price up. Still holding like a boss +1

Nice! Also, seems that they can take a higher gpu clock than with scrypt. I've got all 3 290s running at 1100 and seems ok. I don't want to push any further though as I'm at work and unable to cold reboot if it crashes badly.

i'll take that 1hvc, it will rise because people know they wont be able to mine it for much longer because of the difficulty increase so people will naturally try to buy when it's dirty cheap. it's happening now, look at the buy orders being placed on mintpal. HGtRCP1pFSy4eSFo8d4nprnnAAc4hQ1cPn if you think I qualify for the 1 HVC that's my address .

But I don't seem to be finding shares any faster than a crappy Azure VM that gets 80Kh/s, despite the Mh/s being reported by cgminer. Are you actually finding shares faster, or is there something odd about the speed reported by cgminer?

Just looked back at what I had been mining from a while ago.
Had downloaded wallet and run it as I would any other. However it is password protected and I did not create a password.
How do I unlock the wallet to transfer coins. It is like the wallet generated a password by itself.
Thanks, for any help.

important! keep your memory clock as low as possible!
gpu miner runs @1000 mem or lower without any performance loss

i had high hopes for HVC but looking a the top 10 miner hash rates at hvc.1gh.com ranging from 812 MH/s to 148 MH/s i give up
I can't compete with such high hash rate and things will get worse when the GPU miner is released to the masses
dumping all my HVC now and deleting this wallet immediately
Top hashrate is 928.781MH/s. That is 17136 x more powerful than a 4 core I5-2500's 54.2 KH/s. Is that ASIC miner or data/computing center used freely through government corruptions in certain countries?

Just a GPU rig, probably. Keep in mind that even before the GPU mining explosion, the top miner was at 80MH/s or so - well outside the reach of a single machine doing CPU mining, but totally doable on a server farm or other network of machines.

Well this shitcoin is dead. Glad I got in on GPU mining and dumped for a 2.6 BTC profit before all the noob scrubs who can't figure out squat did. Now price is heading straight into the toilet while they try and dump for a few Satoshis
