Looking at the current nature of Bitcoin and the crypto space as a whole, it is somehow a bad idea to save in Bitcoin for your kids. The  Crypto ecosystem is quiet unstable as it stands now, some haters of Bitcoin are trying their possible best to bring it to its end. I will advice people to invest in bitcoin for short term rather than saving in it for a long time. Its quiet risky doing that.

I think it is a great idea to invest $ 6,000 in BTC now, in order to get $ 60,000 in 5-10 years. But I would still continue to postpone Fiat just in case. For insurance. Because technology is good, but you should always rely only on yourself.

Right now I would say no. If it's really that security, this financial instrument is not a go go. You should both go with the conservative ones and to a bigger portion of that investment fund and also throw some in btc. Just enjoy those profits if BTC has proven its price speculation in the future. Make it as one of the portfolio.

If your friend is investing what he/she can't afford to lose then better stop it or he/she will regret it someday. There are many ways to stream your funds not only saving it for the future. Having a business is one. But placing your future on to something that is quite unpredictable is risky, you might end up with nothing at all.

BTC is a good way of saving your assets from a crashing economy of your country. Just like Venezuela and other countries, BTC is the fire exit from their burning economy.

I can only suggest that only put what he/she can afford to lose on BTC while starting up a small business to make his money flow.

If saving is your purpose then Bitcoin is definitely a good option because it will surely appreciate in price/value in the coming years. Those who are short term investors are the ones who are worried. Short term investors are those who usually panic when the market is in a downtrend. But on a long term, I believe there is nothing to worry about.

What's wrong with saving Bitcoin in the future? I don't see any bad things if we do it,  especially now Bitcoin is the best of all crypto currencies and Bitcoin was on top of them too. Although the its value so far is not good but I am sure in the near future or one day it will be bounce again like just what happened last 2017. Besides, some of the members here had already invested a house, traditional business because of bitcoin.

Yes, since it's volatile and there is a change that it could get higher anytime, it is a good way to earn money. Bitcoin is very worth investing for the future and even my mother considers it as a good investment.
