I think saving on Bitcoin only would be very risky though bitcoin is really a good investment. Nothing to worry about the price drop coz it is really normal for the market to have that drastic drop. Future is still long ahead so we never know if his investment would make him and his son rich or the other way around. Try to give him advices like buy other coins that is on top 10 in cmc i personally recommend XRP atleast.

I think it is not advisable to save money by means of bitcoin especialky for the future of your kids because it is so volatile and risky. The price of every cryptocurrencies will bever be stable because it it is their nature. You can invest your money for long term but it is not good to use it as investment for the future of your children. In cryptocurrency, you should invest only the money that you can afford to lose.

Tell your to sell their bitcoin now and buy it again at lower price. Bitcoin price will go up again but we don't know when, save btc for their kids is good, actually the future of bitcoin is very good, it is better than other online payment methods so there is a big probability that bitcoin will be the main choice for online transaction. |

Maybe bitcoin is not a best thing to buy for our kids now, but it is still a good thing if you have some saving for your kids. He should not worry about the current price because the price of btc is volatile in the market. You can show him the graphic of bitcoin price in the market from year to year, it was crashing and rising many times. |

If it is a good idea or not will depend entirely on your mindset, if your friend is worried after just a few months of negative prices then it could be a good idea that he reconsiders his strategy and he uses something different to save for the future like fiat or precious metals, but if he is completely committed to the idea that cryptocurrencies will become successful then he can keep holding and get his son a good education. |

Why not! I think it’s a better way to save money for our kids. Your friend takes the right decision. At this moment if you invest in bitcoin, after many years like 20/25 years you or your kids will get too much profit. And yes, this will pay them a car & a house.

I prefer to save money for my children in gold. Gold prices will get better because I have never seen the price of gold drop dramatically. Gold prices tend to be stable and grow more and more with time.

Different from your thoughts. I actually strongly agree to save money for my child's savings on crypto currencies, especially bitcoin. In my opinion, bitcoin is very potential for the future. Bitcoin is the king of crypto currency that controls and influences the price movements of other crypto currencies. I am sure that in the future there will be many who use bitcoin so that the price of bitcoin can rise even more. Just now, every day there are always new crypto currency players. Therefore, bitcoin is very potential to save our children in the future. I am also multiplying my crypto currency coins for my child's savings in the future. I buy bitcoin and some potential altcoins, such as ethereum, ripple, and litecoin. |

I believe that something as important as the education of your children you shouldn't bet it here, because that is practically what you would be doing, a bet, the market especially now is too volatile to offer you some stability, so I would recommend keeping it in safer investments or in the bank to grow slowly with interest.

Yes, i think so. Bitcoin can be best choice to save money for our children. As it is block chain based technology world and future world is running with this technology so it can be best. You may have confusion at present market condition like others but you just have to trust in it. You have to save daily some btc for your kids and one day it will help you to make better life for your kids. |
