Why we are seeing this for just ETH did no one notice that BTC touches $4400 too? Did no one sees that almost all the coins lost 50% of its value the last couple of days! It is not just related to ETH the whole market is in a downtrend, and to be honest this last dip I see it as a good sign for an upcoming big uptrend.

It is not just ETH-related that the whole market is in a downtrend, and to be honest, the last drop I see is a good signal for an uptrend. I hope Ethereum returns. Raise and strengthen its development so that it becomes a very reliable coin and can make advances for the future much better and can become the mainstay. At this point we should cherish. At this moment we need to be very cautious as there are lot of people who create negative post and scare other, like cryptos are danger and it will no longer exist. I do not think any announcements would matter at this point. As long as Bitcoin has not stabilized or continue to go down, expect most altcoins (even Eth) to go down with it.

patience is the key.. if you believe that one day eth will regain its value then you should buy more rather than complaining about the price. i am doing the same collecting some eth for a fork

This price is not caused because Ethereum is another useless coin with no future, this price is caused by panic sell. Many people are afraid about next crypto future. Bitcoin ABC and SV creators hate other cryptocurrencies so much and they say that they will do as much as possible to ruin other cryptocurrencies.

sadly, I invest the most with ETH. but the reality at this time clearly made me lose almost 80%. I will only hold my ETH.
and hope the market will recover soon, after the normal market I will transfer my investment to BTC.

This is unimaginable, because for several days ETH price was at 200 USD, but now I am sure we will go even deeper. We won't have any bull run till the end of the year, this is for sure, but there is still hope for 2019.

I agree with this assessment though I think BTC can be at a higher level when ETH is at $100 because it seems ETH is more volatile though it trends the same. So I've got my BTC target set at $3500 and ETH at $100.

Sometimes eth price falling down to 100$ value. But i belive end of year or n 2020 again eth will be hit 1200$ value. In my case of this is a bad marketing condition and definitely will come good bull market in future.

All Market is down all is in red so if BTC go to 4500, ETH cant be in green, its impossible, so problem is not in Eth ,dont think Eth istelfs could go to 100$ ,we all hope to see green soon.

$100 is reasonable since bitcoin is still having a crash and there is a possibility to reach BTC at $3000, if it happens, $100 for ETH will be reasonable. And the announcement can't do anything to ETH since the total crypto market is out of bullish. Anyway, it will affect once the market turns.

It's so paining seeing the market go down like that and i have bought a few handy of eth and was hoping it will go up a little high before i could sell some of them and make a little profit but it's not working as i thought but i am still hopeful

Well, now you can clearly see how crypto market works. News, updates, conferences etc has no power when the whales decide to dump the market You can invent blockchain 17.0, launch super masternodes or show the world your new crypto debit cards... But FUD will eat you and your coin will go testing new lows

Does it really matter right now if it goes down further? All opinions about "it's not gonna go below XX because...." has been shattered already so I do not think any price speculation matters right now. Just take advantage and buy whatever you can.
