The market cap of crypto is so small compared to the traditional market and lack of regulations leads to manipulations and that is what drives this market down. The normal users are panic selling and whales are accumulating.
I  am not reinvesting in crypto but definitely, I am in crypto with my previous investments and rolling with it.

Honestly I think that it is just one more moment of price decrease. Cryptomarket already had such moments in the history. So I rememeber how bitcoin's price fall to 300$ and most people thought that it was the end of crypto. Some people sold their crypto for 300$.
Yup there is nothing to be worry about because id you will check the history of bitcoin you will get to know many times the price has fallen and again it get high because price fall and rise is totally about the number of sellers and the number of investors. So I still have patience because I know price will be high again.

You forgot to say about manipulation which was the suspect of most for this long bear market.

And yes, why I should stop investing in cryptos? there's no more future with it? if I'll stop, I'll hate to see institutional money goes in.

I invest even at current prices, and I will invest even if Bitcoin costs $100. I'm just a programmer and I see a lot of potential in blockchain technology.

Just like any growing industry. Crypto is experiencing its down trend. And this will only last for a while. Very soon the market will spike up again

It will someday. Its not going to be easy for now but it will soon one day. WE may never find out this time who are the big firms today that are actually investing but there are few who are publicly announcing they are into crypto like blackbox but pretty sure there are more of these firms now. They may even be trying buying and selling this time which made this market struggle, there maybe some of them including the traders are taking profits at every spike.

You name it, I will say it's falling. The rise and fall may be a part of a game, but just in a year, the value is getting less and less. There are several reasons behind it. Like volatility, bad press, stringent government policies, less security and many more.

Are you still investing in cryptos? If yes what do you think is the reason behind it and please share your views so that people who are investing and wanted to invest can learn more.

I have invested and continue to invest in cryptocurrencies. I do this with the goal of making money on the future rise of the market. I do not doubt it. Time will pass and you will remember my words.

At present, the risk of investment is very high. But we will continue to focus on market changes. If there are market problems, we will continue to invest. Because encryption and block chains are the future directions of technology. I don't want to miss this investment opportunity.

As always risky sorrounds as because we are dealing into business which is investment. The problems in the market is easy to fall down without hesitations it is because no one can control of it. The technology is really amzing because we can see easily the changes.

The stock market, and the economy of the world in general, is in great condition, everything is going well. And the crypto hype is gone now. I see no reason why would the average Joe ould consider cryptoes.

So until another crisis, I would not put big amounts into cryptoes, or until something meaningful will happen. Because few cryptoes offer something really useful.

I do not invest in cryptocurrencies yet, because I think that the market will fall even more, but I am sure that it will begin to grow, besides, most likely the growth will be quite strong until 2020, as the whales should have time to earn before the introduction of any laws that will limit them.

The volatile nature of cryptocurrencies makes the value unpredictable. The decentralized nature of cryptos implies people can buy and sell freely at any point in time. People that have big amount of coin some years back, can decide to start selling them and this action can lead to fall in value of the crypto in question. This action, which is referred to as dumping in some instances, crashes the value of the coin. It simply obeys the law of supply and demand. It is possible that the big players can be dumping at predetermined intervals.

Now ICO owners sell their cryptocurrency and cheat investors. This is the main reason for the fall of the cryptocurrency rate.

If ICO - would not be. That cryptocurrency would continue to grow in price.

Some people see falling prices as a good time to increase investment, maybe this low price will not be seen a second time in the future. So some people add investment at low prices, holding it back until there is good news that can boost prices.

Technically this current downfall was just a part of the growing economy nof crypto, and eventhough we faced such struggles we still bounded to stay focus on our goals despited of the circumstances behind. Don't rush all things while we're not sure yet, because we might regret wrong decisions in the future. Have determinations and courage in order to achieve your dreams.

I continue to invest in cryptocurrencies. I believe that this is not the end and soon the market will recover. I try to invest in reliable coins that have been on the market for a long time and have a working product. It's less risky.

Cryptocurrencies are indeed caught in the eye of the storm as bitcoin continues to fall. It was never expected that bitcoin will hit an all time low at 3K$ this year and it may even continue to fall to 2k$ next year. Since bitcoin is considered the base currency of the market, it is just logical that alt coins will also suffer from the crisis.

What has caused this continuous downfall in the market for a month now is just unnecessary panic and fear of the unknown. People are just selling off and converting their cryptos to fiat for no legitimate reason. Such behaviour shouldn't stop confident investors from still investing in the crypto market.

Big whales are involved in this and making manipulation has disastered the market, this downfall was never expected by anyone in this forum in the last quarter. I believe it will slowly recover and make a comeback.

Not only whales influence this, but also miners and fear and greed index (look at the current one, and you'll understand). Panic selling isn't good, but they are now. Those who bought at the price of $2-3k sell too.

Yes, of course now is worth investing. a year ago we could only dream of such prices. Will the cryptocurrency live? Of course it will. Otherwise, institutional investors would not buy the poloniex exchange. And the nasdaq would not be preparing a platform for cryptocurrency
