Altcoins are occupy the major position in future because 21 million Bitcoin only mineble so automatically demand will increase in future.  But peoples are move to another platform and this reached entire world at the same time few promising altcoins only survive in future because most are died in upcoming years.

What makes the coin died or not is supply and demand. Even after all the Bitcoin supply has been used up to be mined but the demand for BTC is increasing, do you still call it as a dead coin ?
How about the project that promising a new vision but no demands so when this coin enter the market, there's no movement of volume at all

The answer is in the development of some altcoins will be used for the future otherwise all of the kinds will not be profitable for the development so if the future will be allowed the altcoins to be developed it will be possible

I do not think the future is that bright for most altcoins at the moment as the whole market is depreciating everyday,probably the bitcoin future looks bright as its the king of the cryptocurrency sphere and definitely cannot die, but for altcoins,just like the OP said,probably just with an exception of a few I think the rest are just probably shitcoins

But you also need to understand that there are alt projects with use cases and real world application. There's a lot more useful alts than gambling and e-betting

Is there your question about altcoins applications or blockchain technology adoption at all?
I can see few branches where blockchain could be used, some possible uses for cryptocurenciess too (unless another technology will be invented - which I find very likely)
F.e bitcoin few years ago was one of the best way for international  money transfers... and now there is higher and higher competion (some  of them using blockchain)

I think, altcoins would be used in all major places in the upcoming future. Mot only gambling but each other possible field. Even for now we can see a lot of new startups which accept their own token as a mean of payment on their platform. Their tokens maybe of not that use in the current markets but if the project goes well, they might alsos turn a stable altcoin ahead which will be used in major markets. No doubt that the altcoins will be used in gaming.

But the sellers and buyers should accept the altcoins to be a part of their income if it is not possible then the future will not be filled with like that then the people will also accept the cryptocurrency to be a part of their life then only it is possible.

The most uses of altcoins nowadays are for speculation. There are many traders who keep buying and selling altcoins because of the benefits that they keep getting from it.
