Yes they should be regulated! Since the boom of bitcoin last 2018 many scam ICOs emerged and they did really hurt investors causing the whole bitcoin ecosystem to go down.
I know that will be hard for the government to do, all they have is AML and they do not have a governing body holding the data these ICOs hoard, but maybe make ourselves be more cautious. If you somehow found out that an ICO is smelling fishy and looks like a scam. A simple post on the forum will get attention and will make us study the ICO more.
Helping one another.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

ICOs regularisation would be a wise decision for everyone:
- investors will stop being scammed and also be protected from unrealistic projects - ICO-based projects will get back from the good reputation lost for an entire year 2018.

Of course, ICO needs to be regulated and controlled, otherwise investors will not come into the ICO industry, and projects will not collect enough funds to launch a project. Now a lot of the projector is causing losses to its investors due to the fact that there is no ICO regulation and the market is oversaturated with low-quality ICOs. It is difficult to choose a project for investment and it is easy to find a scam project.

I think you are right talking about regulations providing security to investors and bounty hunters. I am one of those being cheated by new fake ICOs. I participate in bounty campaigns, and I started it since I joined cryptocurrency some two years ago. I have been deceived by many new fake ICOs by not giving me the rewards. Strict regulations should be in place to eliminate fake ICOs.

Considering the high level of scam associated with ICOs presently, many investors are at risk of loosing their investments. Bounty hunters like us are not spared as we may be rendering free services to some scammers and also risking our personal data.
I suppose a regulatory body be set up to audit the ICO process and the founders, and if anything goes wrong or should the project fail, they will be liable. This will reduce drastically investors risk and also keep scammers away. What do you think?
Yes because many people use crypto right now. So i think in the future crypto will be the best asset investment and be digital currency. But is not easy for many country to make crypto legas, because the user is anonym, that's why many country not allowed cryprocurrency.

The regulation of ICO should begin those people who are responsible for the state of the crypto market. Vitaly Buterin should start the process of regulation in ethereum. The bad thing is that there is no Satoshi Nakamoto bitcoin. I am sure that he would propose the optimal solution for the ICO regulation process.

The Regulation of ICOs is very important because currently there are so many scam projects in the cryptospace and this is not good for the development of crypto. If we have a regulating body which sees to the running of ICOs i am sure the team of projects would be authenticated and registered hence investors who invest into such projects would not be scammed as it is happening currently.

I think that the issue of ICO regulation will be resolved in the next 2 years. I hope that this will happen in 2019, but I think it is unlikely that we will be able to do it so quickly.

No, ICOS shouldn't be regulated. To my mind most of them aren't good enough for investors. Well, I heard w 12 is making something more for ICO making its regulated. Have you heard?

Investors need to be protected and one of the best ways to do that, is by bringing up regulatory policies that will eradicate all forms of scam projects.

there have been many threads discussing this issue, and the answer is the same, there are currently no organizations or legal entities that guarantee investors from fraudulent projects, all depends on our own, looking for a lot of info from each project

In order for the industry to evolve further a certain degree of regulation will be necessary which will require startups to register their details for complete transparency and this will offer consumers better protection for their investments which will help legitimize this form of fund raising and increase investor confidence

Iam full support of complete regulations of ICOs but this will definitely reduce the number of potential investors, a lot of investors will be put off with signing of KYC which I belief will be mandatory sime investors might not want to reveal their identity thus making it difficult for the ICOs to reach Soft Cap or Hard Cap let the status quo remain unchanged.

Honest developers and investors would clearly be satisfied with this arrangement, under such conditions, the ICO sphere could survive a second birth, and many coins through which investment goes

I think the ICO market needs to be regulated. Although this is difficult to achieve, I believe that regulation can make the crypto market turn around and allow traders to trust crypto.

Yes they should.
If we were the times that, we would attend ico anonymously then i would say no. But right now we are getting regulated with id, proof of location a selfie but on the other hand, icos are free. It is causing too many scams right now.

That's right. Now there are a lot of fraudulent ICOs that lack a regulator who would control their activities!

I used to think that crypto is free and should not be regulated, but now I have changed this idea. I realize that most ICOs are scams now, and the reason why too many scams in ICO is now is the lack of supervision.

The introduction of the regulator will not win at one point fraudulent ICO. This requires a long and systematic work, including among investors. People need to learn to distinguish fraudsters from honest people.
