Buy now or wait?

Hi, i am wondering if i should buy a little bit of top 20 coins at current prices, 8th dec 2018, or wait until the market gets lower. What do you guys do?

I have bought the current dip, or at least... when market cap was still around 120 billion usd. Following my policy to buy after huge drops only, i planned to buy the next dip if market cap is around 60 billion usd. But should i not buy the current dip twice? Because what if the bakkt launching next month is succesful? What if it gets followed up by the ETF getting approval in the february sec-decision? What if it all comes paired with new developments that occur? Is this a realistic scenario for short-term?

What would you do, if you were following my plan/policy? I don't buy with large amounts so i can take some losses, what do you think is best?

Great, buddy. This time is the golden time for shopping, with a bunch of coins being discounted. The whole market is in the off season. There will be no better time if you try to wait for it to be cheaper, you will lose the opportunity. And top 20 coins are really safe for holders because top 20 large caps, good liquidity.

We saw some pump early this year and its good sign in cryptomarket. If OP bought ETH during his post time of this topic, for sure he already earns profit. It will not temporary if you are seeing the fundamental behind the ethereum's growth. a lot of people keeps talking on this thing. POS transition will give a big change and money changer in the ethereum. POS gives the total supply and that's it.

Buying after the huge drop is a perfect practice. You are expecting for a huge pump after drops so do that strategy for the chosen coins, why chosen coins? there are altcoins that won't recover after huge drops so choose wisely.

Now you can not buy all altcoins in a row just because the easy rise began, the market is weak and can not repeat the history of 2017, so you need to choose only time-tested coins

Buying now will be good effect on your portfolio but do not use all your funds. Just, wait a little more times maybe the market go down more. But if the market goes up then wait when the Bitcoin price goes above $7000. Then use your all funds to buy different Altcoins in top 20.

Start with slow accumulation. I started accumulating back when eth was around $90. Sell a few as well along the way and enjoy your profits  .
There will always be dips where you can buy back in.

I'm so different from you, I absolutely believe it has recovered and is rising again, soon the market will be strong again and I have bought a lot of altcoin for that to happen. By then it was too late for you to believe it
