Well I have no more patience in holding it so I decided to dump all the altcoins listed in an exchange in a low price. I have been accepting already that I loss already in investing those altcoins. Because we are now in the peak season of the year 2018 and cryptocurrency market seem nothing to have gone good and I have also some needs to meet for the holidays so I sold all the altcoins. I will just check later on if cryptocurrency will going to be back at its normal market.

I think your words are not straight forward because youv said two things at a time, you said you need money to fix somethings for the holiday so you decided to sell your holding and you also said you cant have more patience or believe the market will recover. But, I want you to know that youre wrong in terms  of the market not recovering because this is not the first the crypto market will be in this state of down trend.

Well, if you believe you cannot hold on anymore then so be it. We cannot force ourselves to believe in things we cannot control but seeing it falling and we will also fall with it, I guess, it makes sense to sell it. It is yourself to be blame in case the market will reverse its trend.

During long bearish periods is recommended to remain in fiat or Bitcoin rather than altcoins that lose faster their value.

at least it wasn't for surrender on crypto. Indeed the life that needs money and sells at such times though are in but when it takes so not a problem. There will still be another increase or another opportunity to re-start on crypto and perhaps it's already a good time than at present.

Yes, it's better to sell Altcoin for Bitcoin now, then we hold the Bitcoin we have. Because Bitcoin doesn't really decline when prices tend to decline, unlike Altcoin, Altcoin can suddenly scam or lose value very badly.

I guess the OP really need money for this month of Christmas and this coming new year. We cannot force him to hold his asset because we have different perception in cryptocurrency. If you sold your coins for the holidays/Christmas celebrating then it is not your mistake. This year some people are bearing a loss for that event and some are unable to buy their favourite goods for that as they do not have got the profit. If after holidays you have money then buy back them.
