Just a side-story here:
I'm the founder of StrikeSapphire. In 2008-'09, when we were building our software (pre-Bitcoin), we contacted a number of Indian tribes about using our software as an in-house gaming system on a private intranet, for their hotel/casino guests. This generally flew in the face of some regulations stating that gaming revenue networks can't be connected to external, insecure devices, which in turn would have meant a large investment in devices for the customers to use (i.e. they couldn't just use their phone or laptop to connect to a gaming revenue network). Besides the in-house issues, at the time, and still, US tribes do not have a licensing scheme for intra-state or offshore online gaming, the way the Kahnawake do in Canada.
In other words, we didn't get real far talking to the tribes and most of the tribal councils didn't give us the time of day. Vegas hotels were more interested, but had similar issues, and it was before intrastate online gaming was even on the table. Then Bitcoin came along and we changed our focus.
We were the first full casino to accept BTC, in 2011. We are the only one that has never taken US players. And so I was really excited when I first heard about Mazacoin, as it presents the idea of tying together our commitment to crypto-currency with some of our original concepts for finding a legal framework within the States. I picked up a few thousand coins and started looking into implementing it in our casino. And I tried to get in touch with Mr. Harris, in the belief that we could finally, using the coin as a means of payment for a US-facing site, get a legal footprint on American soil with the blessing of a tribal gaming administration. It was a long shot, but unfortunately Mr. Harris never responded to our request.
I still think there is great potential for MZC even if it is only accepted as an informal payment among tribes, not officially sanctioned. I think the hard work to be done is obviously getting it into the hands of everyday people and getting merchants to accept it.
We stand ready to accept MZC when we feel that things have stabilized and there is a solid plan going forward. We continue to be interested in working with a tribal gaming commission to make StrikeSapphire a regulated online wing of an existing licensed brick-and-mortar Indian casino, and we think accepting MZC would be a milestone on that path. However, at this point I would like to have more confidence that there is interest from the community, the founders and the Lakota in growing the currency with tribal licensed e-gaming in mind.
Maza did have a lot of followers and investors at one point, but a lot of them have given up, mainly because of Payu. He is severely incompetent, refuses to address huge issue and will not take into account anything any of the mazacoin supporters, investors, or miners have to say. Mazacoin is a great idea, but it is in the wrong hands and will most likely die out because of it.

Sussex is a relentless troll.(it's bizarre the effort he puts into it) Payu is out every day spending his own money promoting the coin at as many BTC events he can get to. I'm sure these are the kind of posts that keep him going! Excellent:)

That is quite a story. Thankyou for posting. It is discouraging MZC people have not responded to you. It is hard to believe they would not follow up on this kind of interest which, again, tells me they have thrown in the towel. I hate to say this but the Lackota nation is living up to the stereotype. I am sorry.

its so funny that after all this time people still blindly believe that this coin is supported by the Lakota...
The Lakota have absolutely nothing to do with mazacoin... Ive made a lot of money mining and dumping this coin right away... I will continue to mine and dump this coin because its a shit coin put out there by a moron/thief developer whose using the name of the Lackotas for his twisted games. This coin had several threads and in each of them after the community realizes this coin is a sham, some moron closes that thread and opens a new one like this thread.
The dev or payu or whoever they are, will never address any concerns of this community because they could give a shit less about this community... wake up morons.

Wow, that was great fireworks! Let's hope it will begin the momentum upwards.
It's hard to say why P. Harris is so liked and then again so hated among the community.
We have investers that call him fraud, and miners that are determined he is a fraud and dump all the fresh mined coins to the market. Timing the dump to the peak of a starting bull phase. Hmmm.. I might have to ask the Wizard of Oz to write an article about all this.
People who have met him, say only good things about him.
I for sure will never forget this.

Personally I'd love it if Sussex or herp would instead of slamming payu all the time just explain WTF they are doing spending soooo much of their precious time on this thread?
It's quite simple, don't like a coin don't read the thread! I think the people here have made it quite clear you're not wanted here, no one here is interested in your constant FUD, yet you come back posting again and again!!!
If you try to add up the time it's taken them to read through and write all their posts then that adds up to a fair bit of commitment and time devoted to this coin! Which suggest to me one of three things
A. Been butthurt by maza and too bitter to let it go
B. Unemployed with no BTC to trade and research alts they are interested in
Or
C. A couple of school kid keyboard warriors!
It's not hard! You hate the coin, then stop spending all your time on it, your just embarrassing yourselves now, and like 99.9% of the people that read this thread, we skip over your posts anyway, so basically all thaat time wasted results in us all laughing at you! Don't do this to yourselves anymore, im almost getting embarrassed for you!

It's because people keep mining mazacoin even after the price tanked. A lot of people, myself included, believe that there is the potential for a long-term future for this coin. Everyone knows that most others won't be around after a while, and they stop paying attention. Could go that way with mazacoin but it's anything but a sure bet at this point. So it will keep attracting trolls.

I hope they get their heads out of their asses soon. This coin could be worth 100s of millions of dollars, provide a financial cushion to the Lakota and make people (me) rich. Not sure how they got so far, seemed to put it together and then just let everything go to hell. It would be strange scam because the devs didn't take the pre-mine and now with the value tanking it is barely worth taking anyway. This is the only coin I've seen that seemed to have any sort of official/semi-official existence instead of being something put together in a dorm room or a cheap apartment somewhere. Eventually some other country/city/tribe etc. will put out a really official altcoin. I'm reading forums, on altcoincalendar, etc. every couple of hours waiting for that. The Mazacoin FUDsters at first seemed like the usual haters, competition, whales manipulating the price by scaring people, etc. but sadly they seem to have been correct (even if oddly persistent when there are hundreds of other scam coins to go after).

I told you; 400-450 was a bottom. I told you that Maza will rise. From yesterday we have trend inverse.
Riding the waves is great. For example I sold at 710 some of my Maza and rebuy few minutes after at 603 or so:-) And again, again, buy high, sell low, repeat, repeat and SMILE :-)
Waiting for new wave...
