Playing with the top 80 coins out of 100 coins, things have a big risk but if indeed the OP is able to take it I think it won't be a problem.

I am also looking att hose top coins but still no changes in the past 5 weeks in a row, although the top 10 coins in the market are a must invest coin to invest but as you said a volatile market is still a volatile market, so we have to wait a little more to invest at the right time.

Not all the coins in the Top 100 of the coinmarketcap are worth buying, the only reason you should buy a coin is because of the project behind the coin not the coin rank.

If I had the money I would invest in all top 100 coins in coinmarketcap. But useless to say I don't have the money 

Be patient for a while, and hold your coins and wait for the bull run. I am sure you will be able to have much money, so in the next future, you can invest in all top 100 coins in coinmarketcap. But for now, if you have money, it is better to buy a cheap coins price and hold it as I say, but you only need to buy a profitable cheap coin which can give you a big profit in the bull run. You might need to analyze that coin before you buy.

80 is too much. I advise you to take no more than 20 coins in your portfolio,because it is quite hard to manage such a big amount of altcoins. That's what I am saying.

I prefer to take a safe position by investing in coins which are already clear and the products are already used by many people. as we know that now there are so many coins that exist and the potential for the scam is quite large

Don't look for the rank just look for the potential to up. But mostly the coin who in the rank is potential because there is a lot of market funds because people see the potential of this. But there still some coin that need to be discover that not in rank and for sure you will get more profit if the coin become popular if you have that coin.

I agree , I think first of all you need to watch that coin which is developing rapidly , and usually the top of the coin especially for this will not do , so I guess it's worth a look for those coins that have recently come on the market

Personally I continue to accumulate positions only in top 10 coins, there are too many coins but I think that only the ones with good market capitalization can really survive in long term
