I like the odds for these teams.  Denver being an underdog is always a little crazy considering what that team is capable of.  I think Phoenix and Dallas will be a good one to watch, but I think Durant and Booker are too much for Kyrie and Luka.  I also think the Timberwolves while they aren't playing great, are a much better team than the Rockets, who have been playing great lately.  Good odds for this parlay...

I'll be playing this Spurs alt line over the Nets as they're close to beating the Knicks in their previous match and the Nets are on a b2b after winning against the Bucks.

Still, I recommend treading lightly because it's common for these games to go the other way.

It's like the Pelicans knew that the spread was -10.5 and they played really hard in the last minutes of the game while the Grizzlies had an 11-point lead.
Yeah, that made me lose my bet for the Grizzlies with a -10.5 handicap. Ergh!

I like the Atlanta Hawks vs Heat; the first match on slate today... The Atlanta Hawks are the favorites here with a -2.5 @ 2.00 Odds, but I'm simply going with the Hawks money line @ 1.77

Trae Young is still carrying a questionable tag for the match, but I think he's going to be available, besides him the Hawks don't have any significant injury trouble, while the Heat are surely going to be without the services of Jimmy Butler.

I'm staying away from anything that looks like it could be risky today and hoping for no surprises in this long but nothing shocking parlay.  I like these long odds for what should be an easy win for all these teams, but nothing ever goes as planned so I'll have to keep my fingers crossed.

I'm on a bit of a losing streak lately so I thought I'd try and break it today with an easy parlay victory.  We'll see how it goes but it would be more of a surprise if one of these teams lost...  The odds make it a pretty terrible bet to follow, but I need this one for a self-esteem boost after losing a few in a row.  Not sure my bankroll could handle too many more L's before running dry.

Great win on this, it was very close but Wolves made the right decisions in the crucila minutes that's why Spurs loss.
But for a young team like Spurs, if they keep covering the spread, its always good to bet on them.

Pacers managed to win against Boston, Haliburton leads them with his 31/6/7 performances escaping that game against the defending champ,  while ruined the parlay of those who thinks that Boston may be able to take this and win the game,

By the way, congrats with your handicap win, Spurs compete so well almost take that game agains the homecourt advantage of Minnesotta.

I put a few dollars on a few games this past week and I’ve come to the conclusion that I am just absolutely terrible at betting NBA games. It’s just so much harder of a sport to bet than the NFL which is my favorite sport to bet hands-down. I guess I just don’t watch enough of the games closely to get a good handle on things.  Moral of the story I think I might need to take a break.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs Minnesota Timberwolves
I honestly expect this game to end in favor of the hosts. The Oklahoma City Thunder, winners in six straight games, even beat a team like the Memphis Grizzlies in their last game here, and continued their claim to the top of the standings in a season that continues without Chet Holmgren. The Minnesota Timberwolves are a team full of ups and downs and any result today or any other day would not be a surprise. The fact that they are an unbalanced team increases the options in betting preferences. They have an interesting statistic and have led at half time in each of their last seven road games. This is a match for lovers of high odds and surprises. A Minnesota Timberwolves win in the first half and an Oklahoma City Thunder victory at the end of the game is a good option.

Nothing too shocking here.  The Celtics should win easily.  I believe the Timberwolves are better than the Thunder.  I think LeBron's birthday hangover is going to hurt the Lakers.  The Suns should be able to beat the Grizzlies even shorthanded...  Happy New Years!

Is it still several of the foreign guys, at least for me as an American like Luca, etc. or is Anthony Edwards making his case for being the best player in the world? I think he certainly the best young American player in the world after last year‘s Olympics I’m not so sure you couldn’t say that Duran Duran wasn’t the best player of the world or LeBron for that matter they were just that Good. Just curious what you guys think

If I'm thinking an American Athlete, I'd most definitely have it between Jason Tatum and Anthony Edwards, both player have a strong case imo, the I'm considering Tatum not only due to winning an NBA ring, he's was almost always available for Celtics during their run, and to be very honest, most of his numbers and stats often fly under the radar simply because of how good the Celtics are as a team. Anthony Edwards' growth have been really exponential in this past year as well, and I'd definitely have him as the improved player of the year, If I can't vote both him and Tatum has the men's best player together..
