Yeah, well, here's a tip: spend fewer hours at the computer and have more of a social life.
If you have something new and interesting not shared here yet and you share it you will get merits for sure. Just don't be in a hurry, I think you are capable of getting better and better and at some point getting merits frequently will be normal for you. But do not give in to temptation and don't plagiarize, don't cheat.
Actually, I was going to say something similar at least in respect to ideas that any of us need to contribute in BIGgedly ways in order to earn merits, and frequently we do not.
If we are posting in regards to various aspects of our own perspective and experiences, even if we might be saying similar things that other members have said in other locations (or even in the same thread), we are still likely contributing in unique ways because or experiences are different (even if similar).. and our perspective is our own, even if similar to other members.
For sure, I would not be saying to just parrot what some other member said merely because you had some kind of a similar idea, and for sure some times reading through a thread, you might discover that you do not have anything substantively to add to the thread (or the ideas then being discussed therein), so you may well decide not to post anything in the thread.
On the other hand, there have been several times that I had hesitated to post some angle of an idea in a thread or about a topic that I thought was very obvious from my own perspective and experiences because I thought that for sure some other forum member would have already posted about such seemingly obvious perspective/experience, but then after reading through the thread, I decided to make the post, since I had seen that no other member had taken such an angle or even posted about the similar angle of information that I had just posted.. even though I had speculated that similar kinds of information/perspective should have already been posted (of course, many of us also post some dumb stuff too, and not even saying that I am exempt from such dumb postings on a fairly regular basis, so there is that angle, as well.. which might even include some dumb ideas contained in this here post.. perhaps?).
