i agree, the whitecoin hype will have died down quite a bit by tomorrow. i mean, it's minting 30,000,000 coins per day, it can't sustain this price for the next 5 days as thirty million coins are minted each of those 5 days. flutter is minting about 1.5 million coins for the next 7 days, then 750,000 coins etc etc. the two coins are basically the same exact price right now, but way way more are gonna be minted for whitecoin. whitecoin down, fluttercoin up, IMO

In case anybody is wondering why the multipool announcement drove the price down:

1. People mine at multipools for an extra incentive like a bonus or a price draw and not to donate part of their profits. So most people probably thought the flutterpool will not get enough traction.
2. Unfortunately with multipools being launched everyday by other coins, saying you are launching beta in a week or so is being frowned upon.

I think you misunderstand the fee structure of the FLT multipool. There will only be a standard 2% fee for the pool, no different than BC... We plan to take funds directly from our cut and donate them to the Community Bounty Fund. I can also tell you have not done a ton of research into multipools. Coins that are launching quickly are all doing it via 3rd parties. This is not  nearly as secure and extremely unprofessional in my opinion as it makes the developers look like they rushed. Not to mention that the there can be major scalability issues if you operate though 3rd party.

You must look at it with a different perspective, Fluttercoin did not create a multipool because it was all the hype. Our Mp is being created to generate in initial price stability/traction to make merchant adoption more attractive. Stability in the market is caused by a high volume of buyers and dumps from frictionless vendors. MP is one of the best ways to create high volumes of buys over a consistent period. The next step is merchant adoption which will take some more hard work, and atleast now we have a funding source for the future.

Sorry if it seems like I'm ranting but comparing the FLT multipool to any others is just plain wrong.

I guess the market misunderstood the idea as well. I think you described it here better than in the announcement. Just my opinion though. And yes I am not a multipool expert (same as 90%+ of the people who buy the coins).

People are really jittery LOL even if the announcement was disappointing to some, news type events have no long term effects on markets.

This coin is getting rarer, exciting things are happening.

The kick start fund should be looked at as something that encourages innovation, and improves coin value.

We don't rely on gimmicks, only substance.  I'd personally like to see 100000+ - in a year or so, not anytime soon.

FTL on mintpal , buy order @2200 for 28BTC  , I guess we are going over 3000 today

when i so that, i bought more, but few mins later this wall was taken off in one sell,
after that i sold everything, coz looks like soon we gonna see 1k sat.. last couple days price
was rising because everyonewas expecting after ANN FLT will explode.. but not dumpings just started
for long term is good investment, but short term better to sell and buyback in ~1000sat area

doesnt matter how coin is good, but market is maket... i so that with VTC, DRK and HVC
if there break 1800 sat, then will be real panic sell...

Being part of the early miners, I sold for 35% of my stack, but I'm keeping most of my FLT's as the future sounds promising between the fund that could bring some really innovative projects and the merchant adoption push that could go real fast with the POT. Sure, FLT could go down to 1500/1000 satoshis, remember it was around 150 satoshis a few... days ago.

Best thing you can do if you're part of the Y generation: hold you FLT, go into a coma and wake up in a few months

Kept the BTC's, will buy some more FLT if it goes to 1000 satoshis.
