This is a possibility in my opinion. I think we are still at a very young age for cryptocurrebcy development. It wasn't even accepted all throughout the world so there is so much to do with it yet. So I think it may still exist but one thing that might be so possible is that the cryptocurrency may have evolved or changed into something new when that time comes.
It is the current time which is considered to be the "infant stage" of crypto currency. Its is completely new to the world and has a lot to develop. I wouldn't say in year 2050 bitcoin will be considered to be still on its "young age". 2050 means three more decades, which is actually enough for the currency to develop. We will either see crypto currency on its fully developed stage or some other technology taking over it. |

Why 2050? why not focus first on 2025 so many things are happening now in the crypto eco system that we have no time to think what will happen or the outcome three to four years from now, best is to find good projects support it and use it and besides some of us will not reach or maybe too old at that time. It is better to think about what might happen shortly than thinking about what will happen in 2050 because I am not sure that many of us still have a chance to see the cryptocurrency. But we might have the opportunity to see what will happen in the next 5 years from now and we can hope that the cryptocurrency will still be in that year. The cryptocurrency itself still a young and needs many things to develop and I am sure that every project still works on and continue each step they want to raise. Besides that, in every day, new technology will come out, and cryptocurrency is part of those things. |

It will be mainstream…people will be using cryptos like we use USD/EUR etc. ..the difference would be in the online market places and their relation to cryptos…individual cryptos would have their own market places.

I don't know what will happen in 2050, I don't think you need to think that far. and for crypto sustainability, I believe there are many countries that will eventually adopt crypto in the next few decades as a transaction tool that replaces fiat. |

I don't think fiat currency would be wipe out in 2050 because there is a lot of factors that it will never go extinct nor gone. But we might be able to see such new way of using the fiat and crypto currency together. Though it might not be available here but we will that in the near future i guess. |

In 2050, I think that crypto will be able to achieve a lot of things. Actually, nobody can say what 2050 will be or won't be anyway. 31 years is just too long time to make accurate predictions. But I'm still assuming that blockchain will be standard for payments by then. Of course, it can also be that it is replaced by something new and better. As already written, the time span is simply too long. Even what will be in 5 or 10 years is hard to predict. So just wait and see.  |

the future is indeed difficult to predict correctly. if you look at prices in the market today you have not addressed a significant development. let alone 2050, being able to survive in 2025 alone is good if seen at the current market price. |
