I think the ico is a bit affected especially the low price of bitcoin so other bounties do not first distribute the tokens because it can even add to the downfall especially dumpers in bounties so the distribution is relatively restricted so as not to affect their token price is so somewhat extend by another bounty because if you distribute it immediately many investors are losing money and complaining to the admin in ico would expect many ico more to come out and some of them will not be successful and others will be a success it depends on their project if it is a good possibility that many attracted investors will buy their own coin.

They are not dead and some even migrated to become an STO. I'm sorry for your losses but I think you are not equipped well enough with the knowledge to choose an ICO that will give you good ROI. I mean, at least one of them should have bring you back profit or it's just really not a good time for ICOs.

i think they are not dead yet.Just it happens that many ICO's were battling hardship with the market and even can't create support from the network which making them fall flat. The only reason why ICO will continue to exist is that the exchanges are trying to choose projects with a small Hard Cap for an IEO, so that it is easy to pump these projects and create profits for themselves and investors.

Nope, ICOs are not dead because there are some projects that can succeed in this bear market. I always invest in projects that I believe that will really help the world in the long run and sometimes I get scam as well but I still continue to invest in ICO projects to help build the future.

if we were short term player in ico projects, maybe joining in binance launched pad could be good decision for us to earn profit in short term.several ico's already proved gain profit when it launched in binance exchanges.

But to join in the binance launch pad is not easy even someone with GBs internet is not able to join in the binance launch pad ico. Not only from binance but those icos have been running ICO outside binance launch pad before listed in binance

I don't think all ICO are dead, because there are some ICO that can still provide profits for their investors, but now looking for ICO that can provide profit is very difficult, because it is not what it used to be where most ICO will succeed and reach hardcap, but for now only a little ICO can be successful (even reaching hardcap is very difficult, even though there are some ICO that can still provide profits to investors).

I think ico will succeed if the project is really run and not used to look for big profits in a short time, unfortunately most ico are now only made to look for big profits and after the ico period finish they list their coin/token on just a few exchanger and then leave their project, hopefully in the future ico can be even better!

It was bound to happen, sooner or later. We had a few successful ICOs in 2015 and 2016. Encouraged by that success, there were a number of good projects in 2017 and the interest from mainstream investors increased. But 2018 was a year of scams. For every genuine project, there was 20 fake ones. So naturally, the ICO sector was destined to die out.

Yes, Most of the legitimate projects are being privately funded. Its better to stay-away from ICO, I participated in a ICO and it turns out that its being managed by greedy corporate crooks.

I do not think the ico will ever fall out until the crypto marketat increases because of the good it shows that many are fascinated to release a new ICO project. But if the market falls further then the ico loses due to the lack of appetite of investors to invest in it.

It cannot be denied that ICO is slowly shifting to IEO, and most of the project in IEO now are successful especially those who are using a Binance platform.
This is actually good for the community and slowly some other exchanges are also joining the party, like Bittrex for instance.
