I would still prefer Venkatesh Iyer over Shardul Thakur as the seam bowling allrounder. But then, I agree with you when you say that seam bowling allrounders are rare in Indian cricket. Hard dick Pandya is probably the only other player with international experience available to fill this slot. But SENA nations seems to be having plenty of players to fill this role. A few examples are Cameroon Green, Sam Curran, Wiaan Mulder, Daryl Mitchell, Ben Stokes and Jason Holder. Chris Woakes is another one who comes to my mind, but his batting has gone downhill recently.

Indian team is performing very well. I think every player in this team is world class. The team has the ability to beat any cricket team in the world. Besides, the team has been performing exceptionally well in all formats of cricket.

There is no doubt that Shardul Thakur was the reason why KKR were able to score 204 runs. You also cannot ignore that without Rinku Singh's contribution(46/33) it would not have been so easy for Thakur. They both formed a partnership when KKR needed one the most. Therefor for me both players are the reason why KKR had the psychological advantage over RCB. The rest was taken care by the spinners. My assumption after KKR scoring those runs was both openers of RCB can easily chase it. Which ofcourse was wrong as I was expecting too much from them.

Today's fixture is between Lucknow Super Giants and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Due to this only one match per day policy IPL has been stretched to 2 months which is killing its charm. Yes its beneficial for sponsors who can occupy the boards for 2 months and may be because of there pressure BCCI has stretched its duration to two months. The shorter the duration of tournament the more entertaining it is.

Excellent batting performance by the Kolkata Knight Riders team allowed them to set such a lofty target. On the other hand, the Royal Challengers Bangalore team found it difficult to score runs and frequently lost wickets. One of the key batsmen for the Royal Challengers Bangalore Virat Kohli could only muster 21 runs off of 18 balls before being struck out. One could prefer Venkatesh Iyer over Thakur but for this Venky needs to do some yard, in his professional career (IPL and limited international exposure) he only bowled 25 odd overs.

That's not a big sample size when compared to Thakur saab career. Venky is a superior bat for sure but in the bowling department, he's still new.

Lucknow Super Giants vs Sunrisers Hyderabad match opened by SRH. but as far as I have seen the game, their runs have been good in the early stages. but later on when SRH lost wickets their game was completely destroyed. and their run rate started to decrease slowly and gradually their batting performance got worse. but in the last phase, SRH lost almost all the wickets. SRH would have scored a lot of runs today if the batting performance was good. But Lucknow Super Giants are doing very good bowling and fielding performance in the match. for which SRH left the field today after 121 runs and 8 wickets in 20 overs. Lucknow Super Giants will bat next if they can bat well then they can win the match.

Mishra ji is 40 years old and still playing for LSG in current IPL. He has an outstanding bowling figures of 4-0-23-2 today. Sunrisers Hyderabad are already sitting at very last position of table and if they keep on playing like this then there is very slim chance that they will move up in the table.
Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 121 runs in 20 overs, which will be just a piece of cake for mighty Lucknow Super Giants. LSG are on fire as they have scored 45 runs in 6 overs. Hope this chase will be done in 15 overs.

No doubt he is doing things like Holy Cow in IPL because 40+ with below then average bowling and now skill in batting, but Delhi keep him for 4 crores in last four seasons with 2022 missed and now with the price tag of 5 million LSG buy him, and he is doing good job in his early round matches 14th appearance in IPL it's surely something which need good attention bowler like him is still in IPL and having decent money and place in best team of IPL as well.

Very poor batting from SRH keep them down in league even they have few top class batsmen around franchise leagues but still not able to have anything special in their two opening games right now LSG is in full control with Rahul and Pandya both are doing good job for the second win from third match at Lucknow.

It is actually very surprising to see Amit Mishra still play. And it is also surprising to say that he is actually doing a good job of it.

In the past two matches that took place in Lucknow and Eden Garden, the pitch was aiding spinners and all the batsman were struggling against spinners and they are getting good purchase from the wicket and if the trend continues it will be boring as the matches will be predictable and the teams will be staked with spinners like Lucknow Super Giants did today playing 4 spinners.

They have very good batsmen such as Mayank Agarwal and Harry Brook. Glenn Phillips and Heinrich Klaasen are capable of igniting fireworks towards the end. But then this strength never gets translated to performance on field.

Sri Lanka VS  New Zealand

The third and final T20 match between Sri Lanka vs New Zealand was very competitive. However, New Zealand won the match and won the series 1-0.
The Sri Lankan players managed to set a big target of 183 in this match. Kushal Mendis played brilliant innings of 73 off 48 balls. Also the performances of Kusal Perera, Dhananjaya and Shanaka were quite good. Every batsman in the team performed well in this match.

On the other hand, the batsmen of New Zealand were batting very responsibly from the beginning of the innings. After losing 3 wickets at the end of 19 overs, their collection was 173 runs. New Zealand needed 10 runs to win in the last over. Mark Chapman hit a six off the first ball of the 20th over but New Zealand lost three wickets in the next three balls. The match ended in quite a dramatic fashion. But New Zealand was lucky that they managed to win the match in the end.

Agreed. The blame should fall on their team management who need to be replaced completely in my opinion. They pushed Warner out and got rid of so many stars like Williamson, Rashid, Dhawan etc.

I expected a lot from Markram and Brook, but both are playing like crap in the IPL so far.
