From the start everything is in favour of Gujarat Titans as the players were very responsible in their roles. Today it was Shubman Gill who played perfectly and took the team towards win. Maybe if he had lost his wicket earlier, surely Gujarat Titans would've lost the match. Because we have seen Gujarat batting brilliantly in every previous match. But in today's match, their batting was quite slow. Although the target was only 154 runs. So the batsmen of Gujarat batted very carefully.

I knew that Gujarat Titans would win, but never thought that Punjab Kings would push them so hard. Writing on the wall was clear once Shikhar Dhawan got out. Matthew Short and Bhanuka Rajapaksa tried to steady the innings, but then they could only manage a total of 153. And once again, they did the mistake by asking Sam Curran to bat at no.6. IMO, he should have been promoted up the order. Mohit Sharma surprised everyone, as he was making a comeback after many years. But all credit to Punjab bowlers for taking it to the last over. Arshdeep Singh, Harpreet Brar and Sam Curran were good with the ball yesterday.

According to the set target by the Punjab Kings, when Gujarat Titans started the game it was easy to guess what the outcome of the match. At the end of the match, the result was the same. It can be said to be a one-sided match. 153 runs is not enough for that pitch even I think if Punjab Kings could scored 190 or more then Gujarat Titans would have won the match. But there could have been a chance for Punjab Kings to win the match. Every player of Punjab Kings has to contribute for victory otherwise it is difficult to win any match.
