Punjab Kings are batting after losing the toss against Rajasthan Royals. So far Punjab Kings have collected 30 runs for one wicket after playing 3 overs. Punjab Kings managed to score 10 runs per over in the first three overs of the power play. 

The Punjab Kings team was able to set a target of 188 runs due to the excellent partnership of Shah Rukh Khan and Sam Curran. Punjab's top-order batsmen did not perform well today. Punjab lost 4 of their top-order batsmen to manage just 50 runs in 6.3 overs. Curran's 49 runs, Jitesh's 44 runs and Shah Rukh's 41 runs helped Punjab to muster a good total of 187. I would say this is a good enough collection to win if Punjab's bowlers are able to perform well. But as Rajasthan Royals batted badly in their last match, I cannot trust their players. Rajasthan lost all wickets for just 59 runs. But I hope to see a good performance from Rajasthan's batsmen today.

Target given by Punjab Kings is pretty good and if they will ball good this is a win for them and end their ipl journey on a good note ,  rajasthan Royals are in difficult spot right now they have to bat really good if they want to win this match and make their way forward in IPL.

Pick of the bowlers from RR is Zampa who picked 1 wikcet but gave just 26 runs.

In the last 2 overs, Punjab Kings managed to get a total of 46 runs.  
Thanks to the contributions of Sam Curran and Shahrukh Khan, who both scored some crucial runs that helped put Punjab Kings in a competitive position with a total of 187-5. By doing so PBKS has turned the match in their favor and are looking good for a win. While Rajasthan Royals need 188 runs to win (a must win game for them). After 2 overs, they are at 16/1. We have seen a lot of crazy things happen in the IPL so far. But I still do not believe that KKR and/or PBKS have a chance. They have been really inconsistent in this tournament. RR certainly does have a chance. RCB will probably reach the next stage but nothing more than that. I do not believe that RCB will actually reach the finals. GT, CSK, LSG, and MI are going to go through in my opinion. I also think that the net run rate is going to be a big factor here.

I can agree with you on Royal Challengers Bangalore. They are known as eternal chokers of the IPL. They have some of the best players in T20 format such as Kohli, du Plessis and Maxwell. And they always start the tournament on a high note. But this is their 16th season, and they still haven't managed to win the trophy at least once. KKR and PBKS have disappointed so far, in part due to the lack of form from their star players. And RR has disappointed many with their poor form during the second half of this season. If they don't qualify for the playoffs, then there is a good chance that Samson may get fired as the captain.

RCB is recently showing good signs with the bat. I believe they will be able to actually reach the finals if they can get the bowling part better. But it is certainly going to be easier said than done. Virat Kohli is currently in form. I believe he is better when he is not the captain. Or maybe not being a captain actually helped him because he did not have the additional pressure of captaincy. I just cannot trust RCB because they are not very consistent when it comes to the later stages of the IPL. After all, they have not been able to win even a single IPL trophy since the start.

Punjab and RR are basically playing a dead rubber match at the moment. They need a miracle to make it to the playoffs even if they win this one which is why it's a pointless match if you ask me.

RR have hope as long as Jaiswal keeps playing till the end. They started their season extremely well and messed up royally(Pun intended) towards the end.

Had Rajasthan Royals not been beaten by a huge margin of 112 runs against Bengaluru, they would have finished fourth in the points table. Moreover, if they could have won against Punjab in 17-18 overs, then Rajasthan would have been ahead of Bengaluru in NRR.

I find it unlikely that both Mumbai and Bengaluru will lose their last matches. Mumbai will play their last match against Hyderabad. Hyderabad is not in good form. Mumbai will not face a big problem in defeating the Hyderabad team. But I think Royal Challengers Bangalore will qualify for the knockout round by defeating the Gujarat team.

I think the Afghanistan and Sri Lanka matches will be very competitive. Because both teams are able to perform exceptionally well in the T20 format. However, Afghanistan is slightly ahead of the spinners, so the team is more likely to secure victory.

I would say that it is next to an impossible chance for the Rajasthan Royals to move ahead and get 4th place in the points table. Gujarat Titans is the best team so far in the tournament and to win against them will be a miracle in itself.

I believe even if Delhi Capitals win today they will not make it to the qualifiers for sure. Because Delhi Capitals are at the bottom of the points table. But this match is the biggest battleground of Chennai Super King today.
Ofcourse, if they win today, they will definitely be able to play the qualifier match, so team captain Dhoni gave the most importance. Chennai Super Kings scored massive runs against Delhi today so I don't think Delhi Capitals can fill the run basket any way. Ofcourse, Chennai Super Kings are more likely to win because their performance is very good and the bowling line is strong.
