To be very honest, NZ coming without the main players, has added pressure on the Pakistan team as now they will have to win all the matches and series otherwise the world will say that Pakistan is beaten by the NZ B team.

I thought New Zealand would be able to muster at least 150. Pakistan used 7 bowlers in this match. Haris Rouf has given an excellent performance. He was able to pick up four valuable wickets. Also, Imad Wasim took two wickets in 1 over giving only 2 runs. In this series, we will see the dominance of Pakistan, and the series will be easily won by Pakistan.

With T20 format cricket it is really hard for the bowlers to be very effective. It is highly advantageous for the bowlers. When Narine is able to maintain good economy, these bowlers should've performed well. At the end Kolkata Knight Riders have lost the match by 23 runs. Better bowling might've changed the match. KKR batting is not to the mark, because the powerplay isn't used well. During the starting overs wickets fell and scoring is very low. At the end Rana and Rinku Singh performed good, if not the match would've been a loss by big margin.

SRH should replace Kumar with a better bowler since he has been bowling like crap from a long time now.

I don't agree with this suggestion. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is the most experienced bowler in the Sunrisers Hyderabad squad. And if you look at his figures, he did quite well yesterday. In a match where the Kolkata Knight Riders scored at more than 10 runs per over, Kumar returned figures of 4-1-29-1. The other SRH pacers, such as Marco Jansen, Umran Malik and Thangarasu Natarajan were much more expensive compared to him. And you are forgetting the fact that Kumar got the wicket of Rahmanullah Gurbaz in the first over, which put KKR in backfoot.

Rinku Singh has been consistently contributing in the match. He also played a good innings in today's match. Scored 58 runs off 31 balls at a strike rate of 187.10. Nitish Rana gave a good innings in this match but unfortunately they could not win. Opposite team Sunrisers Hyderabad set a big target of 228  which is very difficult to overcome. Harry Brook who scored a century and remained unbeaten for this reason Kolkata Knight Riders had to lose the match today. If the opening batsmen could have added a few more runs, the result of today's match might have gone in favor of Kolkata Knight Riders. 

However, despite losing this match, the points table of Kolkata Knight Riders did not deteriorate. Hopefully Kolkata Knight Riders will focus more in the upcoming matches.

Both teams played well and I think Kolkata Knight Riders lost because of by a little mistakes. They had some players who failed to play on target and wasted some balls. This is not unusual, but it is very difficult to recover if the average run rate is too high to fall behind. I think Kolkata Knight Riders had a similar situation. Moreover, they showed a good performance in some previous matches so losing a match will not have a big effect for them.

The first T20I between New Zealand and Pakistan seemed like a match between one of the rapidly improving sides versus one of the teams that is in rapid decline. New Zealand was without their key bowlers, as most of them are away playing the Indian Premier League (Lockie Ferguson, Tim Southee.etc) and the remainder are injured (Kyle Jamieson.etc). On the other hand, Pakistani youngsters delivered a very strong performance yesterday with Saim Ayub and Zaman Khan (both in their early 20s). Future looks bright for Pakistan.
