Today we saw a great innings from James Neesham. This New Zealander has single handedly brought Rangpur Riders to this stage. However, the most regrettable thing in this match was not being able to hit a boundary with the last ball. Had James Neesham hit a last ball boundary he could have celebrated a century off the last ball of the first innings but unfortunately he didn't put the last ball into bat. The amount of runs scored by Rangpur Riders in the last minute shows that this match has become much more difficult for Comilla Victorians. Rangpur Raiders have some good quality bowlers and they will surely defend and try to take this match in their favour.

James Neesham's innings of 97 runs was excellent. Rangpur scored 68 runs in the last four overs as a result of which Rangpur was able to set Comilla a target of 186 runs. It added 143 runs on board after Sunil Narine got out for a duck in the very first ball of the innings. What a match!!! It was beyond my imagination that Namibia would provide such a big target. The collection of this team was only 66 runs in 11 overs. I thought the maximum Namibia team could muster was 140. But Namibia set a huge target of 207 runs. And after giving such a big target, there is no chance of defeat for Namibia today. Nepal will not be able to win by batting at such a big target.

Batting on a big target of 202 runs was a much tougher task for the Islamabad United players. Babar Azam's brilliant century gave Peshawar Zalmi a big target of 202 runs. Also Syam Aiub collected 38 runs off 21 balls. On the other hand, Islamabad United's Colin Murno and Azam Khan have not batted well. The interesting thing is that the total collection of 6 batsmen of Islamabad United's lower order was 11 runs. Maybe they could have won if the lower order batsmen could have batted a little better.

I am waiting for the match between Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans. Lahore Qalandars have not won a single match this season. The team has been defeated in all 5 matches. On the other hand, Multan Sultans team is at the top of the table by winning 4 out of 5 matches.
