I think it's not Chennai Super Kings day because first thier bowling were a bit off colour which allow thier opponent top order to smashed some magnificent innings and they done it finely but when it come to CSK to chase a normal fair target thier most of time performer top order opener lose to make huge difference for his team in such crutical situation and I think for that credit goes to Khalil Ahmad a mystery spinners because if these two guys were on crease them I will say surely that csk will be the winner and continue his winning streak but unfortunately things goes beyond Thier expectations and their middle order unable to mange run rate proper and giveaway his wickets before get the required target and thus CSK winning streak got break by phenomenal performance of Delhi capital after long time.

He was supposed to debut for LSG last season but got injured, in domestic he played a handful of matches for Delhi's side so overall he's new.

His accuracy with raw pace attracted a fair amount of eyeballs and if in this IPL season, he continues his run with the same intensity then I'd say there is a good chance.

At 21 years of age, he is already struggling with injuries. Given this, I am not sure whether he will be able to play continuously. However one thing that I liked about Mayank Yadav is that he has the rare combination of accuracy and raw pace.  Take the case of someone like Umran Malik. He has raw pace, but accuracy is not up to the mark. And as a result, he gets hit all over the park. After yesterday's match, I went back to highlights from Vijay Hazare Trophy. He was really impressive in those matches.

That's a biggie but overall he's not fragile and with some care his body can handle the pressure.

I'd hope LSG or maybe BCCI might step up and start working on his fitness. The former is already working on it because Gautam Gambhir (Ex LSG chief) picked him up from the Delhi circuit. Also, I'd prefer to save such talent from Delhi's local management, in recent times management has gone from bad to worse and they are hell bent on ruining talent due to politics, that's why many domestic players are ditching Delhi Ranji.

I agree it was definitely surprising to see Delhi Capital defeat Chennai Super Kings especially with way they played. Kuldeep performance was impressive and it will be interesting to see how he continues to contribute to team. Pathirana skills were definitely highlight of match. It always exciting to see bottom teams like Delhi Capital perform well against top teams like Chennai Super Kings. Hopefully Delhi Capital will try to maintain this momentum and continue to surprise us in future matches.

This win will defiantly boost the morals of DC team as CSK is top team of IPL 2024. DC can now feel that they can stay in the tournament after beating top team of the tournament. Credit for this victory goes to DC top order batting including Prithvi Shaw, Warner and Pant. DC skipper Rishabh Pant stayed at the pitch till 19th over and ensured a big target. From CSK side the lower order batsmen tried but unable to undo the damage done by the early loss of both openers.

Oman eventually collected 109 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated over. Oman's two opening batsmen did somewhat well but the later batsmen could not do well. However, the Namibian bowlers bowled very well. Tangeni Lungameni took 3 wickets and Ruben Trumpelmann took 2 wickets. Oman set a target of 110 runs which is not enough to win. 110 runs from 120 balls is very easy, Namibian batsmen can win if they are patient and bat well in the end.

When a team loses, they usually will give such excuses that it was not their day and statements like these. The fact is that Delhi Capitals were a better team in batting, bowling and fielding and they deserve this win. There was a solid batting start by the Delhi Capitals where their captain Rishabh Pant made a half century and it was followed by David Warner. The DC batsmen never let the Chennai Super Kings bowlers to settle in. Although Matheesha Pathirana took three wickets for 31 runs but there was no support to him by other bowlers.

Chennai Super Kings started the chase with the loss of its both openers cheaply and from there onwards it was just a struggling chase which never look threatening. I still fail to understand why MS Dhoni came so late in the innings when there was no chance left to bounce back. He scored 37 runs in only 16 balls and remained not out.
If he had come earlier, things might have been different for the Chennai Super Kings.

Sandeep Sharma and Chahal are the primary reasons why I feel RR will prevail in this particular clash. Excited!

Mumbai is in horrible state ever since Hardick became captain, after replacing Rohit Sharma. That said, I am not sure whether Sandeep Sharma and Chahal will guide Rajasthan to victory. IMO, these two are very ordinary players, who are extremely inconsistent. In fact I am quite surprised that Sandeep has actually managed to find a slot in an IPL franchise all these years. He can be very wayward and expensive at times. For Rajasthan, the strength lies with batting - especially Sanju Samson, Jos Buttler, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shimron Hetmyer. And now the useless Riyan Parag is also in good form.
