I judge the team from this season alone and here KKR had won 3/3 games, and hammered opponents in two out of those three, while CSK didn't live upto their name in prior two games (that too, losing against DC), so it was expected that KKR is at better place to win the game.

One thing you need to remember about the IPL is that unpredictable stuff happens all the freaking time and KKR loves unpredictability which is why I bet on CSK and won decent amounts.

Fortunately most of the matches are scheduled to start at 7:30pm Indian time. By then, it is cooler out there. Anyway, Asian cricket boards hardly care about the fans. Facilities are poor, and all those who are involved (state associations, police, caterers, contractors.etc) treat the fans like cash cows. But then, cricket sells in India like no other sport. You can easily get tens of thousands of fans, even on weekdays. I was hoping that things will get better under Jay Shah and Anurag Thakur, but the situation hasn't changed a lot.

Things have improved in IPL matches though, not drastic but significant changes due to franchises' intervention as they kind of take charge of home stadiums.

Buying tickets for marquee matches and entering the stadium is still a big struggle but the hygiene situation is improving, slowly but moving in the right direction.

Punjab is like Kohli of ipl teams, they love chasing and their chases are fun to watch. Raza looked out of touch in previous match but today he's looking good, also the Cummins catch of Sam Curran was something I appreciated, anyone else would have likely dropped it.

Lmao, at the start i thought it's going to be a dull match

These 2 teams are competing nicely, contest was there but in the end, it was inflated by some amateur fielding in the last over. 3 catches dropped in the last over, 2 on boundaries and the ball went for 6 lol. With 29 runs needed off 6 balls, it should've been straight forward finish for SRH but it went to the wire.

They are not losing but they have lost. At this time both S sing  and j Sharma  are batting with partnership. They tried their best but they have very few balls to meet super Sunrisers run target. Both of them try their best to take a match in last moment, but they have taken it to the last minute but as I said before, they failed due to the low end of the ball.Actually Punjab King the match was already lost when j Bairstow gave away his wicket in the first ball and shocked the whole team and because of this shock all the best men could not bat well.

Sunrisers Hyderabad were in control of the match till the 19th over. But bowlers and batsmen both were under pressure in the 20th over. Ashutosh Sharma did well as needed his 2  maximum(6) boundaries almost brought the match back also Shashank Singh did well but I think if he could have played one more over earlier this match could have been won. But I will agree with you that Punjab Kings could not have come so far in the position they brought the match if  Hyderabad's fielding had been better. Their required run rate in the 18th over was around 17 overs. That Shashank Singh and Ashutosh Sharma have come this far from that position is certainly commendable. Punjab Kings lost the match by just 2 runs. If they could have converted the 5th ball into a boundary then this match would have been a resounding win for Punjab Kings.

Today's match between Punjab Kings and SRH was played and the conqueror team SRH, won the match by two runs which is very near to losing the match if Punjab Kings have gotten more balls. Because of the few players who wasted most of the balls they lost like J. Bairstow who was outed on zero and faced zero balls similarly P. Singh was outed on 4 runs and faced 6 balls and two more players also wasted balls. I am not criticizing that these players are useless or have zero efficiency to not score in another match but I am saying that Punjab king would have won this match if they had a few more balls and some players used those balls and did nothing. The fielding of Sunrisers is very bad . They could lose match but they were lucky and that's why they won the match. I appreciate Ashotosh Sharma who made match very interesting and I enjoyed this match very much. He made excellent 33 runs in just 15 balls and he remained alive on the wicket at the end of match. But Shashank Sharma inning is outclass and he could snatchatch from SRH but God helped SRH. And at the end SRH won the match by only 2 runs.From SRH batting side , Reddy performed very well and made brilliant 64 runs in just 37 balls and he is player of the match.

Sunrisers Hyderabad  vs  Punjab Super Kings

Hyderabad set a target of 183 runs today. Punjab's bowlers bowled quite controlled, which is why Hyderabad couldn't muster 200+ today. Nitish Kumar collected 64 runs off 37 balls. Besides, Abdul Samad managed to collect 25 runs off 12 balls. Arashdeep bowled very well today. He gave 29 runs in 4 overs and took 4 wickets. Harshal Patel also bowled very well.

Yeh it's true some quality bowling of Arshdeep and Curran from Punjab restrict their opponent to scored below 200 otherwise the way they were scoring it was an easy to get such number on total score board, while from Hyderabad the main role has been played by Nitish kumar of scoring such target because most of thier power hitter like klassen and markram has been dismissed before done something decent for his team. While when it come to Punjab bat to chased down the required target thier top order got departure in such crutical situation as a result due to pressure mounting thier middle played quite slow like with lower strike which make things quite difficult for thier lower aggressive middle order and despite playing so aggressive still they unable to hit the required target by few runs and thus a few mistakes cost them defeat

Exactly that was really unfortunate for the team Punjab Kings. They fought really well with Sunrise Hyderabad but they lost near to the victory. Just for two runs. And you mentioned Arshdeep Singh I really remember him he really bowled well in ICC World Cup. And he is still continuing his performance. Collecting 4 wickets is really appreciative. But unfortunately his team didn't win the match. And you also mentioned Nitish Kumar he also played really well who collected 64 runs. After Punjab's top order collapsed, I thought the team would not even manage 150 runs. The team lost three wickets for 20 runs and 6 important top order batsmen for 114 runs. Even then Punjab team managed to collect up to 180 runs.
Shashank SInbgh and Ashtosh Sharma batted brilliantly. Shashank Singh was unbeaten with 46 off 25 balls and Ashutosh 33 off 15 balls. Due to the excellent batting of these two young batsmen, the Punjab team lost the match by just 2 runs. Otherwise, the margin of defeat would have increased. But Pat Cummins bowled this excellently. He gave only 22 runs in 4 overs.
