Rajasthan Royals performed well by defending the wicket from the start, due to which they were set to score 196 runs. 196 runs is enough for Rajasthan team to win this match if Gujarat Titans can keep pressure on bowling side. Because these two teams are strong enough in today's match but there is one positive point for Rajasthan Royals. It seems GT is experimenting with the squad to find the proper combination. IMO, they should play one pacer all rounder(i.e, Omarzai, idk much about Shahrukh Khan, was in PBKS before, had nothing notable) instead of 3 pacers, the extra batter can come in really handy.

Gujarat batsmen collected 51 runs in 7 overs. Sai Sudarshan remained unbeaten with 24 runs off 23 balls and Shubman Gill 26 runs off 19 balls. Although the two openers are batting very slowly, Gujarat will win this match if they do not lose wickets. Gujarat batsmen need to score 146 runs off 78 balls to win. If Gujarat doesn't lose a single wicket in the next 3 overs, I think the match will be completely under Gujarat's control. However, the batting of Gujarat's two openers is a bit slow.

Gujrat Titans captain Shubman Gill got out after collecting 72 runs off 44 balls. At the end of 15.2 overs, Gujarat Titans collected 133 runs with the loss of 5 wickets. Apart from Shubman Gill, no other batsman could bat well in the Gujarat squad. Although Sai Sudarshan collected 35 runs, his strike rate was only 120. I can't call it good batting. Gill just gone due to clever bowling from Chahal and GT's chances to win this match are now minimal. GT is going ways of RCB, there are few players performing, and I hate to see it.

What a match!!!!!! I never imagined the match would end with such drama. Gujarat's batsmen played great. Especially due to the excellent batting of Rashid Khan and Eahul Tewatia, the Gujarat team was able to win this match. If these two batsmen could not bat well, Gujarat's victory in this match was impossible. I will give the biggest credit to Rashid Khan for winning this match.

Gujarat needed 35 runs to win in the last two overs. And Gujarat collected 37 runs. Rajasthan lost this match due to Kuldeep Sen's poor bowling in the 19th over. Kuldeep gave 20 runs in the 19th over. And Avesh Khan gave 17 runs in the last over. The Rajasthan captain should have used experienced bowlers in the death overs.

Indeed, I lost my lunch money but the ending was worth it.

It was some fine fightback and GT got 2 more points in the bag. Ashwin and Kuldeep Sen's last over changed the dynamics, bummer for them as they were very tight and impressive in their first 3 overs. In hindsight, I feel Samson missed the trick with the impact bowler Maharaj and got slightly defensive despite being on top.

^^Indeed what a match! I had lost hope the moment Gill got out but wow what a turnaround from Tewatia/Khan and much of credit goes to Rashid Khan, man performs normal under pressure.

Sen appeared to be a good bowler during first overs but it seemed he got under pressure during death quota, those extras also helped a lot to Gujarat, and of course the lucky four to widish yorker in Avesh Khan's over.

In hindsight, I feel Samson missed the trick with the impact bowler Maharaj and got slightly defensive despite being on top.  

True, Maharaj would have likely been a better choice, if I got it right, he guided Chahal to bowl wide and he got Gill stumped out with that.


This was much needed win for GT, I hope they'll continue the momentum.

What the blazing hell! Why didn't Samson use Maharaj towards the end when he was actually bowling well? He keeps depending on Avesh Khan at the end who keeps leaking runs like crazy this season.

RR seriously messed up since Tewatia and Rashid aren't even in their peak form these days. Are we gonna watch RR screw up continuously again in this season? Let's see.

Well that was difficult to predict any side victory because both are on top at thier own place but later after Hardik pandya thier captain left from Gujarat make them look like a bit weaker compared to Rajasthan and also thier captain are not performing worthy which also create difficulties for them, toady they really shocked thier fan because Rajasthan scored around 200 with a strong contribution from as usual Thier captain Samson and new guy parag but still unable to make it and I think for that credit goes to completely Rashid khan because first in his four overs he just give 14 runs and get 1 wicket with economy of below five which is phenomenal also later the way he finished the game for his team when they were in huge disaster were pure class and that's the main reason of thier victory but despite lose the match still Rajasthan dominating points table

USA vs Canada

We all are now busy with the cricket frenzy with every match of IPL but in between the T20 series between USA and Canada is already packed. These two teams may not be well known to us but we got the proof that they can play good cricket in the second T20 match between them.
In the second T20 match between their two teams, USA batted first and collected 230 runs for three wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Whenever a team collects more than 200 runs in T20 cricket, it is understood that the batsmen in that team have batted well. But the interesting thing is that Canada went down to bat against the target of 231 runs given by the USA and they also scored a lot of runs but their innings stopped at 199 runs at the end. This match was really entertaining.

The third  ODI match between the two teams was abandoned and it was a disappointment for those who were waiting tp see another thrilling match.

What a performance the United States of America captured in this series. After seeing their previous result for sure, you cannot believe in your eyes that it is the team of the United States of America that has beaten the Canadian team in this way.

At this time, for sure Canada had been bored with this series because they had no interest in cricket and especially, they were losing the matches consistently. Shubman Gill's brilliant innings of 72 runs at the start and Rashid Khan's brilliant 11-ball 1 cameo at the end was one of the reasons for Gujarat Titans' victory. Gujarat Titans did not have a good run in the beginning but since the Power play Gujarat have done well. But the interesting thing is that a team and the fans are waiting till the last ball to be sure which team will win this match. The victory of Gujarat Titans is basically confirmed as the last. If Rashid Khan could not have batted well at this crucial time then Gujarat Titans might have been very close to victory but today the Afghan all-rounder's bat did the talking which is why Gujarat Titans won this match.

A lot is being talked about nowadays regarding Sanju Samson. Some people claim that he can be the next captain of the Indian national team. However, I am not very impressed with his captaincy tactics so far in the Indian Premier League. Yesterday's match was something that Rajasthan Royals could have won. When Vijay Shankar got out, Gujarat Titans were struggling at 111/4 after 14 overs. They needed another 86 runs to win from 6 overs, with most of the top and middle order back in pavilion. Still they won, because of Samson's stupid bowling changes.

It was GT who put up a fight. It never felt like GT was going to win this match but somehow they did, I had low hopes even on last ball when they required 2 of 1.

May be RR should have gone with someone experienced for death overs instead of Avesh and Sen, they did fairly good though I don't have much to complain about, they were trying their best to not get hit over the fence, and that resulted in few extras as well.

There is lot of mistake/misinformation in your post. I wonder if you even watched the match  Gujarat Titans won the match and you wrote that they lose the match. Hardik Pandya is not the captain of Gujarat Titans and so on. 

Coming to the todays match. i hope that today Mumbai Indians will win because they won just a match and their team position is too bad in this IPL which is not good. In the last match of Mumbai Indians after struggling too much, they won the match. Also, it is a very important match for both teams but the Royal Challengers Bengaluru team had a habit of losing so don’t worry about them but Mumbai Indians had very good records in the previous seasons which is why to maintain that performance, they should win the matches from now onwards until they didn’t reach onto the top 4 teams because those teams will qualify for the Semi-Final.

I agree with you about match. Rajasthan Royals lost because their captain Sanju Samson made bad decisions. He thought too highly of his bowlers and this hurt team. Trent Boult did well at start but Samson didn't use him enough. Instead he chose less experienced bowlers for important final overs. This choice didn't work out and team lost because they gave away too many runs. It's sad to see a captain make such bad decisions especially when better choices were available. Rajasthan Royals need to fix this problem if they want to do better in their next matches.
