New Zealand team arrived in Pakistan for 5 T20I series. It's a good opportunity for Pakistan to prepare for T20 world cup coming up later this year. New Zealand team is without it's key players that are busy playing IPL 2024. While Pakistan playing series with full strength squad. 3 matches are scheduled in Rawalpindi while Lahore will host 2 matches. Good decision by PCB for not hosting any match in Karachi because that venue doesn't draw much audience. Series will be starting on 18 April 2024.

I think it's big irresponsibly of new Zealand cricket board who hasn't even decline his player NOC for IPL even having important international series ongoing against paksitan and his player give importance to money over international duty, to be honest compared to them Australian are more serious and sensitive regarding international duty compared to any other franchise league and that's the main reason of Australian team success. Anyway it will be a good opportunity for paksitan to prepare himself for upcoming T20 World cup in United state and some other related countries also thier training Camp with army in kakul will really help them to be fit and have more stamina while playing big and aggressive innings. Wao what a exciting match has finally come to an end where Mumbai Indian win were almost confirmed because thier previous captain Rohit Sharma were really in colour and were brutally smashing each and every bowler of thier opponent and scored his century too with a 160+ strike rate but due to irresponsible batting from his other end partners restrict him to get the required target at required overs and to be honest his Middle order were just awful they can get it but unfortunately not and thus a clear cut victory of them converted to defeat, CSK has done phenomenal job especially thier captain innings the way he build momentum which help them to go above 200 and the more surprising things were Dhoni finishing moves he hit 3 sixes in in four which is mind-blowing

Apart from Rohit Sharma's 63-ball 105 and Tilak Verma's 20-ball 31-run innings, no other batsman can bat as well in Mumbai's squad. Also I don't like the performance of Mumbai's bowlers. Except Mohammad Nabi and Bumrah, every bowler in the Mumbai squad has given plenty of runs. Pandya, Akash Madwal and Shepherd in particular bowled very badly. Pandya gave 43 runs in 3 overs and Shepherd 33 runs in 2 overs.

In RCB's match against RR, when Kohli made a century, there were lot of complains about his SR, meanwhile Rohit yesterday played with quite similar SR, and people are all praises.

Chennai's batting and bowling order is strong enough. However, Mustafiz, one of Chennai's most important bowlers, could not bowl well in this match. However, due to excellent bowling by Pathirana and Tushar Deshpande, Chennai team managed to defeat Mumbai.

Deshpande surprised me, I thought he would be most expensive bowler, but he did well. Widish bowls seems to be this IPL season's meta (meta as in Most Effective Techniques, popular in video game culture).

I am very upset with Pandya's strange captaincy. Mohammad Nabi gave only 19 runs in 3 overs. He bowled very controlled. But Pandya did not give Nabi a chance to complete 4 overs.

I am also not satisfied with Hardik Pandya's captaincy. I would say Rohit Sharma is more experienced captain than Pandya. Still I don't know why the Mumbai management didn't give Rohit Sharma the captaincy.

In yesterday's match we saw Mohammad Nabi bowled controlled but Pandya did not use him properly. And this isn't the first time we've seen it. We saw the same thing in the matches against Bengaluru and Delhi. Nabi gave only 7 runs in 1 over against Bengaluru. But even then Pandya did not give chance to Mohammad Nabi to bowl. Akash Madwal scored 57 runs in 4 overs in this match. I would say Pandya needs to be smarter with his bowler selection.
