The impact player rule needs to be removed and the powerplay needs to be shortened to 4 overs instead of 6 in order to give bowlers a bigger advantage.

Yesterday, the Sunrise team was on fire as they played so amazingly. Travis Head had been experienced playing against Indian teams and players after the Test Championship and ODI World Cup in which he was the man of the match by hitting centuries in both matches.

In total he hit 2 centuries against India in World Cup finals or tournament finals. The beauty of Travis's head is made for India or for Indian pitches but I think he was made for both. This player is not a player, it is a lava for India which will never be finished until Travis Head didn’t resigns from cricket or retires from cricket and IPL.

It's not like IPL is not innovating. 2 bouncers rule came out for a reason and it favors the bowler, from an innovation perspective Impact player is another one but it favors the batting side because with this you have 8 proper batters in the playing XI and from for ball one batter gets confidence and they go hard, knowing fully well that they still have 7 batters in the piggy bank.

We can't do much about the boundaries line because of the small stadium, competitive pitches can solve this. For example, small stadiums should have a bowling-friendly pitch and the opposite for normal stadiums.

I think we should not blame the pitches and consider that since these are batting friendly wickets, there is little to no role for the bowlers. This is simply not the case.
 
We can take an example from yesterday's match where the bowling line-up of Royal Challengers Bengaluru was so poor in this IPL and can you believe that Muhammad Siraj (The Brilliant Bowler of India) lost his form and I think that form will never come again as you can see in the previous match that he was out from the playing 11 and do not play that match due to his poor performance.

If you know, in the Asia Cup final, he played very next level and picked six wickets which has been won by India just because of him and after that bowling performance, he should be a part of the Indian World Cup squad and unluckily now he lost his form.

But we are still having good favour for the batsmen in this season as we are heading for the another 200+ as bowlers completely fail on batting tracks and batsmen are having good time for setting new records which are not good for the game.

I have to agree we need sportive pitches which favour both bowlers and batsmen if we need some good competition in this game otherwise things can go on wrong side because we are having terrible time for the bowlers Trent Boult and Avesh Khan done some better performance which are keeping things in well balance but still I am not happy with pitches like these which are completely favouring batsmen, and they are hitting all around freely.

Towards the end, wickets kept on falling for KKR. But the scoring rate never went down. And now there is a very good chance that Kolkata Knight Riders may win the match and top the points table. They have a much higher NRR when compared to RR, so even if both the teams finish with equal number of points, Knight Riders will be on top. And winning the match today will be next to impossible for the Royals, given the fact that the Knight Riders have talented bowlers such as Narine, Vaibhav and Starc.
