I thought this match would be competitive. Because both West Indies and Afghanistan have won their first three matches. And both teams have performed well in every match. Afghanistan team won by a big margin against New Zealand. But Afghanistan players could not perform well against West Indies.

Afghanistan bowlers performed well in last 3 matches but in this match ,they remained silent and And West Indian team played with hard ball like football and Pooran hit very and his sixes were incredible and I enjoyed this match. I like West Indian team due to that kind of performance. I thanked to West Indian cricket because they selected the team on merit and they didn't accept references.

So finally we know that the T20 World first round has been finished today and today was the last match which was played between Afghanistan and West Indies. Now tomorrow the Super 8 riund's first match will be played. These are the teams which qualified for the Super Eight Round.

Afghanistan players perform regularly in various franchise leagues. So this team is not weak in T0 format. I wouldn't be surprised if this team surprises. But India and Australia have a 95% chance of being in the top 2 of the table.

I agree with you. Even before the World Cup, I did not consider the West Indies team as the favorite as the World Cup champions, but considering the performance of all the teams at the moment, the West Indies team seems to be the favorite to become the champion this year.

We haven't seen a very good performance in the group stage from a strong team like England. The team lost against Australia and did not perform well against Scotland. On the other hand, nothing can be predicted about India's performance yet. Because none of the teams that India have faced in the group stage are that strong. West Indies keep themselves developing a lot and their performance is getting more better. They won last 3 matches already and Today they again won by 104 runs against Afghanistan and thus they proved themselves again cause Afghanistan is strong themselves, having dengerous bolwers and great batsmen. Today afghanistan won the toss and opt to fielding. So west indies went to batting. Brandon King didn't meet good runs levels but rest of players gave skillful performance today. Johnson Charles(43) made decent amount of runs, and Johnson Charles(98) showed legendary batting skill, although he missed his century just for 2runs. And they collected 218-5 runs in 20 Overs. Besides Afghanistan top batsman out with first ball, and thus rest of players also got out with low runs and all out at 114-10 runs in 16.2 Overs. I must say, West Indies improved themselves a lot, not only in batting but also in bowling too.

Yes I saw the match and I enjoyed it. As per what I saw , I think Afghanistan team is very weak in comparison to west indies. Both their batsman and bowlers shows their best performance while Afghanistan team quite disappointed as they did not score a massive total and also fail to limit the opponent team runs. In Afghanistan team only G.nabi took 2 wickets but in west indies all the bowlers took 2 or 3 wickets and same as their batsman which shows that West Indies team is much stronger then Afghanistan. Looking at the odds, things are quite different as shown in the above percentages. I don't think that South Africa chances of winning this match are 61%. The odds suggest that they have more than 90% chance of winning.

By the way, if anyone wants to take risk and bet on USA, they will get above 5 odds. The form they're in at the moment, you never know another upset may happen and also South Africa was lucky in some of their wins in the group stages.

Well it's really exciting match to watch between the two aggressive sides of the tournament where the unpredictable side west indies lose the toss but Afghan thinks they will get them while chase so they decided to allow them bat first but I think they were mentally prepared for such challenge so they utilize it properly and scored highest Target of the tournament and really surprised everyone. After that target afghan were really under pressure and unable to Handel situation and especially after they lose one of their main and high scoring opener gurbaz they really lose thier hope and some how we can say they lose 50% match here later some brutal collapse of thier middle order shift momentum toward west indies and thus they lose thier match which can may really effect thier moral

It's last to watch of NewZeland because they are already out of the tournament and just to complete formalities of world cup they are playing his last match where papa new Guinea bat first to give a strong target after NewZeland allow them to bat after winning toss but they unfortunately scored a very low target and not even scored a 100 runs which indicates how weak they are and due to lack of experience they unable to get the ball on bat but I am really surprised while NewZeland chase because they haven't any quality bowler to defend such low target against strong Line up but they get three wickets of NewZeland before won the match and that the weakness which push NewZeland out of the tournament. Also it's last match of boult I think new Zealand will really miss him

Trent boult is a main bowler of New Zealand team and he always played well in all formats and I like the Yorker of Trent boult. But think ,he will return back to his team because New Zealand team need him and they are weak team in the absence of Trent boult. We know New Zealand team is out of the tournament and that is disappointing but that is not a solution of that because New Zealand whole team played very bad and we can't give the credit to one player. They should win the match against Afghanistan but Scotland made a position in super 8 and we saw change in this World cup. New Zealand Cricket board should encourage him to rejoin the team because he is top most bowler of New Zealand and he is young player.

In fact this is the most interesting phase of this World Cup where we shall see the matches between the most tough teams and indeed it will be full of fun and entertainment.


I think group A is very easy as we can see there are Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, and India too. In which, I think for sure, the Australian team and Indian team will reach to the Semi fiinals. However, the point to note is that in the Semi final, India and Australia cannot meet each other but they both can be meet in the finals. Don’t know why I had the last time vibes in 2023. 

It is an easy group and Bangladesh and Afghanistan too can be easily beaten by India and Australian team too. Let’s see what will happen. After a few hours from now, the super 8s matches will start.
