It will be regulated for some reasons but crypto is crypto, we can use it without regulation and I think it will just depend on what country you are living.

And what we need to expect is that there will be more people that will start using it few years from now. It's popularity is unstoppable and knowledge about it by the people is growing.

Well if we're talking about 2019, such use of crypto would be limited. Aside from lack of regulation, it's still fluctuating a lot to be used as a regular means for doing transactions. In time of course we'll get there with the regulations in place and i think it's going to be a very productive bitcoin onwards.

for me what ever a change to a cryptocurrency now and no matter how long it takes from the bitcoin method I will accept, because for me nothing else to replace a bitcoin crypto will remain the same it's strong. so if the crypto of 2019 is going to be an even product payment, it's better to have it, so that a bitcoin crypto will change.

I'm wondering what's your opinion on the goods purchased in currencies other than euros or dollars, say crypto. I'm aware it's being used as a regular currency in various fields now. There are, for instance, lots of successfully run marketplaces based on crypto out there. 
Over the past year, the market capitalization within crypto soared to the Moon.  Unfortunately, it's been a bear trend for a while now and no one can say for sure when it's gone. However, I am still thinking there's some light at the end of the tunnel - new market, pretty few competitors, great potential. So it's high time to become an active user.

So that begs the questions: Your thoughts on crypto as a payment method? Any progress achieved in the upcoming year?

Cryptocurrency  as a payment method for goods and services is something that makes things easy, convenient and time effecient so why would I be using fiat just to fall in line to pay bills and get robbed? Security is one of the most common issue here not volatililty. Though merchants are looking into crypto as unstable asset but I think they are going to be adopting crypto as payment and what interesting here is that they already did as early as 2014 until now and that is an advantage for all cryptocurrency users worldwide.

Now many companies are launching their own coin for product purchases and this demand will kept increase. We can easily find the real value in it, as long as if the company has good reputation and their product are really worth able and that's why many companies are launching their token as security tokens.

I think this year will be different because we will see many people trying to use crypto. I agree that the price will increase and on the other side, the adoption will continue. And if right now people are concentrated with storage and trading, they will still use bitcoin for making a payment. But I think if bitcoin is used as the payment, it will make people become confused because bitcoin price always changes at any time.

I think this year will be different because we will see many people trying to use crypto. I agree that the price will increase and on the other side, the adoption will continue. And if right now people are concentrated with storage and trading, they will still use bitcoin for making a payment. But I think if bitcoin is used as the payment, it will make people become confused because bitcoin price always changes at any time.

We need the lightning network, it is as simple as that, as soon as the price of bitcoin goes up the network gets very busy and you need to pay huge transaction fees to get a confirmation in a decent amount of time, however even getting a confirmation in 10 minutes on average is not good enough, if we want bitcoin to be used to buy goods we need this process to be many times faster and until that happens I do not see massive adoption happening at all

It would be interesting to see that situation to repeat itself

And how well Lightning Network would behave under such stress, i.e. how many people would actually be encouraged to use it in real life. But right now with measly 700 bitcoins used for payment channels, it doesn't look very promising on this front (and it remains to be seen whether these coins are actually used for anything)

If things were to repeat themselves, we would likely get into what we had already been in with insanely high fees in the past. To put differently, we may not see mass use of this technology until there is mass adoption already under way. So it is not like you see it (i.e. no mass adoption before LN)

Well I think fluctuation will not come across for the payment resource, so I can see in future payments with crypto will be so reliable and it will be better way to buy goods than we are using now a day with money, we are in modern age mate and we really need digital currency to move with time, crypto payment will save our time as well our money.

Many countires hae crypto as payment for tax payment and the country like Japan where you can even buy a car with bitcoin so it is evolving as a currency too but if we want the bitcoin to be a real currency it need to be accepted in small hops then only we can avoid fiat.

Agree with you after acceptance and legalization of crypto currency in some popular countries it is increasing as payments sources because it has fast transaction and it is so easy as well. There is no extra and additional cutting will be taken from your card you will be able to pay safely and it also saves our time which can be use constructively.
