I'm wondering what will happen to ICO if bitcoin goes back to 1000$ plus per one to find its bottom? Will ICO start dying off ? Cos presently ICO is already suffering from market condition and I'm wondering what ICO fate would be it bitcoin falls further ,any thoughts???

Possibly. Just look at 2018, many ICOs held their sales and distribution because of the market condition. But it's also a good time to reset for them and just take bitcoin @ $1,000 without any thinking that it will go higher or lower. Another thing, ICOs will gradually die if that happens.

The same things also happen now. The big drop of the price caused good projects to stop selling. Most of those who wanted to try did not reach the softcap. Most of the softcap achievers experienced a great price decrease after being listed. |

As per 2018 the ICO's were already dying.. its not only in terms of the market condition but the fact that there are no investors at all.. after those ico's that tag as scam investors are avoiding it already

Possibly ico will suffer more, existing start-ups will follow. The only ones whom I think will withstand the market will be project start-ups after Bitcoin must have reached its bottom. So not just icos but many others will suffer including holders

In that scenario there would be absolutely no ICO or STO that could reach their goal. Right now it's very hard for any ICO to reach it since there is almost no one interested in ICOs anymore but if what you are saying happens, there will be impossible.

ICO's have lost respect and trust from so much foul play, which is unfortunate for the good ones but if they adhere to new regulations will likely take the route of STO instead. |

Exactly the ICO is dead. You do not need to wait for BTC to return $ 1000 to confirm that ICO is dead. For me, ICO died 6 months ago and it cannot bring profit to investors |

At the moment, the entire market is suffering because of bitcoin and ICO is no exception, but at the moment bitcoin is growing and shows a good prospect for altcoins. I may be wrong, but I don't believe it can drop to $ 1,000. |

I think it will affect much to the ICO. Big investors may leave the crypto space, but it's also give positive affect to the crypto, like only true believers will stay and those scammers will leave.

We have not yet experienced that yet, but the ICO condition is so bad even if Bitcoin is on the $3000 level so I guess it will die a natural death but Bitcoin's price at that level is a huge opportunity for all of us, but will it ever go to that level.

If bitcoin goes back down, icos would still exist Ico is truly suffering, but in the bearish position worthwhile tokens have reached and surpassed their softcap and hardcap which tells you that for any ico project to survive; it must be real |

The fault with ICOs that die is lack of demand ,the power of demand matters a lot and if there is demand for every ICO then they won't die easily no matter how market condition worsen ,for ICO to survive any market condition it has to be a very demanding product

Most likely, this will have a bad effect only on those projects that are already running, and those who will run on a fallen market will be able to fully raise money!

if that happens most definitely many ico will follow, alresdy the market is too harsh for many of this ico's to survive, this has also led to the extension of many project to achieve their goal, so if btc miraculously drop to that extent, people will loss confident and ico's will suffer, except that project has something valuable to offer and there is demand for it.

I think even the price of bitcoin will drop 1000$ the ICO will not die especially if it has good platform and it is promising project. Most of the ICO now do not even reach the soft cap the tendency they will stop the ICO project. I think when the price of Ethereum goes down all ICO suffer from big losses. |

In fact ICOs now are nearly dead already, so the situation will be even worse then. But it is a good filter for ICO projects and ideas. Many good and strong ICOs are venture projects in fact that use crypto to collect funds. |

Interesting question and never hits on my mind. We are now seeing huge sufferings from ICO last year and up until today since Bitcoin went down up to $3000. Every altcoins are following the bitcoin price movement so as the investors. I never observe ICOs when bitcoin was under $1000 but I could say that their era is now on the verge of death so I am pretty sure that this ICO scheme will be vanish if bitcoin falls below $1000. These ICO actually ruined the momentum of bitcoin.
