Even if investors are not investing when the market is down, some project team will source for fund from private investors.

This happen if the team handling the project are really looking for the good of the project. Yet, we all know that most of the team are only after the money they collected. They put the coin or token to exchange and after that they leave the project dead with no improvement at all. This is why many coins and tokens now are being dumped.

First of all, ICO is already dead. There is no more good funding nowadays. Most of the projects fail to reach their target. There is no need to BTC hit $1000, people right now don't believe the ICO project anymore.

Obviously, when ico complete their target such a softcap or hardcap, they will held the distribution of their coins/token, all of the ico projects are doing this because bitcoin is not pumping yet, way back 2018. I already experienced this from all of my ico campaign, and until now they are always announcing that "wait for further announcement", "it will distribute soon". Meaning if bitcoin continue to fall, or start to fall again, ICO come to its end.

I don't see the problem as in What happens to ICO if Bitcoin drops to $1,000 which incidentally I do not see as a likely scenario, the problems for ICO is with them launching during a bear market where there planned raise figures drastically reduce in value during or shortly after the ICO. With Bitcoin at $1,000 they could simply plan funding around this figure and price their token appropriately.

That what i've thinking before ico is dying as they dont success and if succeded the price of the token they made is shitcoin because of the market condition . one time I participated in a bounty campaign, there I was amaze the value of the token they made is maintain in 0.06$ per token. That campaign incourage that not all ico dying it depends the team behind of the project.

Bitcoin becomes $ 1000, of course, this makes the crypto world more collapse. And that will have an impact on the ICO project. Many large investors will leave the market if this happens. But if you look at Crypto's growth now, I don't think this will happen. I think the market in 2019 will continue to grow.

I think that although the price of BTC is falling, there are still many people who are optimistic. The truly valuable ICO project will survive and will not die.

I think ICO will still be able to keep on going, and they should recalculated the price of their coins compared with Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency.
Then the fund collecting still able to be performed.

it is a very well known feature that the bitcoin is not fixed and hence appears in its dynamics whenever it is talked about or considered in the technological space and also what it takes to be an investor is the ability to withstand whatever that comes and in the bitcoin space, it is already known that it is a normal trend as the fluctuations are always constant so the prices of Bitcoin should not be considered by investor during ICO investment

If bitcoin goes back to $1000, the ICO will still exist, and there is many more ICO that will launch. People want to make money, and they know that if they used ICO, they could attract more people to invest with them and it's mean, a lot of money will come to them. But I realize that ICO is dying right now and it is only waiting for the market to start rise again so the ICO can follow to increase.

If bitcoin goes back to $1000, the ICO will still exist, and there is many more ICO that will launch. People want to make money, and they know that if they used ICO, they could attract more people to invest with them and it's mean, a lot of money will come to them. Developers team must be considering bitcoin price but i think ICOs still running. In this bear market, many ICOs still can reach the target because that ICOs offering a good project. I think in any situation, ICOs still exist and new project will come to market

It may go back to how it is before, at least a little. I mean, before, most cryptocurrency users are all out in terms of joining ICOs in different ways, whether as an investor or a campaigner. These days, only a few people have stuck in the practice of joining ICOs because of many different reasons, mostly, the declining return rate of most of them. It's just really hard to introduce new coins these days, especially when you see other used-to-be reliable and seasoned coins declining in value by the day.

Well if that eventually happens then many not so strong ICOs will die and even none ICO projects too and its not a bad thing because I personally only want the best projects existence in this world not weak projects

When Bitcoin goes back to $1000 it will cause an enormous interest again from people to buy it, since it has proved to be worth $20k at one point. + People are getting more education on what it is, how it works and why could it be extremely valuable in the future. I am pretty sure there is a reason for the 8 decimal points for Bitcoin.
