MI are on full fire and now require 61 runs in 47 balls. The match should be easily chase able  from here and RCB might just lose another match in this IPL unless they bowl something magical and put pressure back on the MI from here on.

I am not expecting any magic to see LOL
RCB going to have another shameless lose without any doubt. I was waiting for the odd for MI to be atleast 1.90+ but it never happened :-P

Anyway in the pool I will have another win which is not bad at all. I had a terrible week. Lost 3 out of 5 in the pool (considering MI to win today)

That last round was brutal, dropped all my picks over the weekend with all the underdog victories. Can't believe KKR lost twice 

Hoping MI can come out ahead of RCB today to save at least some points, but de Villiers and Ali are building a strong partnership out there at the moment (both 50+) and the MI bowlers don't seem to be able to keep the strike rate down. Can see RCB getting at least 175+ at this rate

Did not know it's going to be so close. MI need 22 runs off 12 balls and it's going to be too close now. RCB are really bowling well but hope MI don't lose anymore wickets.

So what Yadav was expensive in his first spell? He is very effective in death overs, he can blow yorker.

In this kind of matches 19th over is always crucial. If you can create pressure in the 19th over then at the last over batsmen feel immense pressure and give the wicket. Kohli just just gave the match to MI's hand when he called Negi to bowl.

Damn you Kohli. The entire IPL season is not working for RCB only for him.

MI won the match comfortable and Hardik Pandya has started to pick his form and playing some good shots and making quick runs which is helping the team to win the matches as he comes later down the order and change the game in their favor.

Actually, the ball was turning which was why the spinners like Ali and Chahal were more effective when compared to the fast bowlers. The commentators even mentioned that Negi should have bowled in the 17th over itself to take advantage of the pitch.

It looks like RCB are done this season. Southee dropped Hardik freaking Pandya's catch who wrapped up their innings in style after that. Catches win matches people!

RCB is out of the tournament now. They have the big and potential team but none has performed in this tournament even Virat kohli also not done well in the matches so far you played.

I wouldn't blame Kohli. Pawan Negi was bowling well (till then) and he had only conceded 25 runs from his 3 overs. On the other hand, Umesh Yadav proved himself to be inefficient for the last 4 matches. Here are his figures for the last four IPL matches:

With the way Kohli is captaining the side in this IPL we have to give the up most respect to the best captain, the world has ever seen in Dhoni and i still cannot accept the fact that he is not the captain of the national side and he is the only captain to win two world cups for India and without his input in the match in the national side, i am not sure how good of a team India will be in big tournaments. Hope that these performances will dent the confidence of Kohli as a player before the world cup.

That's true but a spinner should not be the choice of any captain in 19th over. Royse is correct in some. Spinner can't make a different in this kind of situation.

You are right,he had bowled from pacer on the very crucial over but RCB fadt bowlers are conceding more runs so he just want to gamble with the important over but he failed in it.I think he followed the trick of Dhoni because he also will do the unexpected things like these and nothing to worry since they are already very far from getting selected so just play well the remaining games and practice for World Cup.

Bud, in T20 17^th over and 19^th over has difference. In a tight match when the betting side's required rate is over 10 to 15 runs per over then 19^th is the last chance for the bowling side to create the ultimate pressure. A good 19^th over decides the match result. If batting side can takes it then they will win and if the bowling side takes it then they will win.

I understand Yadav did bad and gave extra runs in his first spell but that does not mean that he will do bad in the death overs. He is capable of delivering yorkers, slowers, bouncers and in this kind of situation a fast or medium fast bowler is very effective than a spinner.

If you take CSK as example then you will see, Dhoni never ask Tahir or Harbhajan to bowl in this kind of situation. This is where Dhoni is great. He knows how to use his players and bring the best from them. Kohli is a stupid big head pathetic nut. He is a good batsman no doubt but his captaincy has big question.

Now, you can ask me then how do he manage with the Indian team? Well if you look closely then you will see Dhoni always makes the decision or gives Kohli the sign of the next move. Kohli really needs to learn captaincy while Dhoni is around.

It's just the way I get pissed when a team like RCB is performing this bad. RCB was suppose to be a team to qualify for the next round, they had the potential but they wasted it. Could not win some very close match.

I don't understand the logic behind including players such as Umesh Yadav and Mohammed Siraj in the playing XI, when they are under-performing continuously for 4-5 matches. Apart from Southee, Royal Challengers Bangalore has the option of fielding players such as Colin de Grandhomme, Washington Sundar and Dale Steyn.

De Grandhomme can be indeed a great addition , he can bat well too down the order . Steyn doesn't have the intensity he used to have but they can try Washington though , he can come in handy ( he can replace Negi for few matches ).

I bet on Punjab too and I feel that they can win comfortably against Rajasthan. With Warner and Smith getting selected for the world cup squad, SRH and Rajasthan will lose their main batsmen like Warner, Smith, Buttler etc which will lower their chances of qualifying most probably.

If it was Dhoni, he would definitely take the risk by calling Yadav in this position. I remember Dhoni called Jugendar Sharma in last over in the first t20 world cup final against Pakistan even if he didn't have a good spell in the first. I can't say exactly in which match but Dhoni did this in some more matches and always was a gainer. However, spinner in 19th over is not expected. Because a bowler can also hit sixes if a spinner comes to deliver ball in 17+ overs.

There is 3 changes in the Pubjab team they have the complete batting team. Miller may make any magic today since they made the addition. I believe Ashwin and boys will win this match for sure.
They are in their home ground and they selected to bat first today.
