As i have mentioned above that Dhoni is suffering from back Spasm.

After a good opening the other batsman are not able to bat and it shows how much Dhoni is needed to guide CSK. but even if they lose this match nothing will effect as they are very safe with 7 winnings

CSK really needs to figure out what is going wrong with their middle order. If you analyse their previous innings then you will see almost in all matches they suffered in the middle order. In few matches Dhoni saved the team and in the last one Jadeja saved the team and won the match.

Today they could easily score 180+ runs considering the run rate they had at the beginning but now I think they will not be able to score ever 135 runs.

You were right. They ended up at 132 thanks to some awesome death bowling by Bhuvi which I have noticed after quite sometime. This total seems quite easy to chase unless SRH messes up thanks to their middle order once again. Lets see what happens.

@royse if curator keep creating slow pitch like this for ipl then it can help new crop of batsmen or bowlers immensely in longer run. Not good in short term for financial point of view tho.

SRH also have the same problem. So far I have seen as long as Bairstow is in the pitch their scoring rate is good even Warner struggles to cope with the require rate.

It will be interesting to see if SRH lose Bairstow and Warner early.

I picked CSK though in the pool. I am not betting today.

What did it happen that in 20 overs CSK just could manage to score only 132 that too just 5 wickets down. What a bowling performance by the SRH and winning the game easily with 6 wickets. Its only 2nd loss for the CSK yet.

Looks like I made the right decision by betting on SRH today. They won the game quite comfortably in the end. Their middle still is under-performing currently. Looks like they are still in the race. CSK lost another game at last.

Yeh, good to see SRH to win and kept their chances high however it's againg Jonny Bairstow. If he would not score then we could see different result. Like I said when Bairstow performs they do well. In fact it's not about Bairstow it's their middle order. Their middle order is failing.

Same is happening with CSK. Both team needs to improve their middle order.

By the way, does anyone have the winner in mind?
I think it will be CSK again.

Once again, the scoring slows down after the 10th over. Warner and Bairstow scored at almost 10 runs per over, but the batsmen who came after them (Vijay Shankar, Hooda.etc) were not even able to score one run per ball. This has become the norm for the IPL. The steamers are proving very very expensive and the spinners are putting the breaks.

CSK was literally lost the match when Dhoni is not playing,if you watched the match then you might realize it.

Yesterday's match doesn't look like CSK was playing there is no different moves when the bowlers going for run and there is no one out there to stabilize the middle order and firepower at the end overs.Hopefully Dhoni will be fit for the next match to see CSK roaring again.

Lucky here mate. I did for SRH just because Dhoni was not in the team and I got success. Once again it has been proved that MSD is the one who brings the success in team CSK.

Expected this answer which is silly and you know it. MSD will always be a critical part of the CSK lineup, but SRH absolutely dominated CSK and even Dhoni would most likely not make any difference.

An entire team is not equal to a single player. These are just excuses trying to justify why CSK lost.

Anyone want to predict the winner for today's match? It's a tough call actually. The Capitals are not doing that good, but they have an advantage against the MI. It will be interesting to watch Rishabh Pant, after the snubbing he received from the selectors. I would go with DC for today's match.

I would bet for DC only if the odd is above 5, otherwise, there's no point. If someone plays an outstanding innings, DC may win. Otherwise, I don't think MI going to lose this match. MI players are having good performance overall.

I am not following matches much these days except for last few overs. So can't really predict anything but DC playing in home turf today and kotla ground is good for batting traditionally. But that's not the case here in this season, curator ruining the all fun but still I am expecting 170+ run chase here unless we see any magical spells from both sides.

If that's the case then would like to see rishab and shryas beating the shit out of Mumbai Indian's bowlers specially pandaya and bumrah lol. That would be treat to watch if rishab show aggression with his bat and go bonkers on 22 yard pitch.

I will go with Delhi Capital. Pant has not performed well in last few matches however may be, he will have another good knock (78 out of 27 balls) like the previous match against Mumbai. Nothing is not even close to reality obviously.

It's interesting to see how IPL matches are turning 180 degree almost in every matches. You think team A is doing very well and is going to win the match easily but after the last ball to bowl, you find the winner is team B who were losing the match by every possible calculation.

What's the reason? You are losing morr than you guess? Almost all the IPL in previous were same, true that 180^o is happening this year much. However, I would go with DC today. I think Risab will get a good performance this time.

Not confident about which team will win and also yes I lost too much in the last two weeks so I am in very tight budget LOL It will be hard for me to lose more while not much confident about my pick.

I am also favouring Pant. In the last match he was playing a monster innings meaning he is well ahead then MI's bowlers. He may hit big today as well. Only around 15 minutes to go.

Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to bat. It will be an interesting chase for  DC if MI score a good total.

EDIT2: Well it's 168 runs. When I saw Rabada I thought it's not going to happen but MI did it. 169 runs in this pitch is very much hight score. We will see the response from DC.

168 runs on scoreboard looks okay because of pitch, don't you think?  MI need only couple of wickets in start. I am wishing that dc 2 down under 30 runs and then there is one more chance for rishab Pant. Lol

You are right however seeing 140+ runs on the board and have 1.2 balls remaining looks not bad for MI. It will be interesting to see how DC response.

EDIT: 5th ball is a six, 6th ball is a four and the run is 150. One over left. 165+ (?) may be.

EDIT2: Well it's 168 runs. When I saw Rabada I thought it's not going to happen but MI did it. 169 runs in this pitch is very much hight score. We will see the response from DC.
