Bitcoin will be the best choice if you want to leave your investment for a whole year. Why? I'm recommending you to just invest it in Bitcoin or ETH. It's not that risky as we can see that there are huges supports and liquidity in these markets that allows it to avoid sudden dump. Keep away from ROI since 90% of them are more likely to be a scam.

Ethereum is good for long time holding. ETH is a very good investment and we should consider it now because its current price is very cheap. I think the volatility of ETH is a good sign because the big financial corporations in the US are focusing heavily on this market and the opportunity for ETH to increase is huge so invest now because of me. surely ETH will soon return to the price of $700.

divide that money into 4. wait for bitcoin to get to 2000$ or 1500$. then buy btc and eth ( by that time, eth should be around 20-50$). then go to coinmarketcap and search for top 10 gainers for the past two years. copy them out on a spreadsheet. out of this spreadsheet, find out the top 7 losers. Next, ask experienced investors about these 7 losers and invest in the two most recommended about them. hodl the 4 coins for two-three years and rip the fruit.

the safest and surest thing in crypto world is bitcoin.  just buy bitcoin with your $1000, and let it be for another 1-2 years.  i have very high faith that your 1000usd investment will be worth more than double that in 1-2 years.
