How popular is VK. Is it like Facebook? And how to they serve ads? Is it by user interest?
it should be second or 3rd biggest social network after facebook. Yes, we advertise on crypto/bitcoin/blockchain related groups by user interest it is very similar to Facebook ads but simpler. We observe the eco system results should improve in time. |

It's a decentralized blockchain, so nothing is secretly uploaded. Use wireshark to inspect the network traffic and you will see that nothing is uploaded to the blockchain except the file hash. The browser extension analyzes the file locally on your device and then uploads and stores the file hash on the blockchain. You can be assured no files are sent to the servers (no need for it just hash of the file). And the hashing process locally (on your own computer) handled. Same for DeepOnion QT wallet when you register a file or checking authenticity no files are put on the blockchain. |

I don't know VK but it seems to me an excellent idea to focus more on the social aspects where cryptocurrency is spoken actively

You don't upload any files to DeepVault. You just register the hash of the file (a string of number and letters) so that any alteration to your original file can be detected since the hash file is unique and will differ if you make any alterations to the file afterward. |

BCT ID may not be autoincluded into the sigs, so imo decision is after u, any choice will bring the same benefit for DeepOnion. |
