Seems like people are not exited by road map, because no serious buying is coming, or may be wrong timing to release as money is leaving market.
Also, will you be able to launch untraceable token before Zcash and ETH do? Because they are also working on untraceable tokens

Dear All,

Have not been here for ages.

The great reason why the buying is not taking place is that the development team is showing loud and clear that it is not able to deliver any fundamental answer to the clearly argued statements in https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=740112.0 (Blowing the lid off the CryptoNote/Bytecoin scam)

That they would have given an answer, if they could, is manifest from their website posting at https://bytecoin.org/news/bytecoin-2.0.2-software-update/ which shows that there are some good coders in the team, which could have studied the problem and provided an answer, if they wished and had something meaninful to say.

"No meaninful answer" seems to indicate at this moment that some of them are either still involved into that scheme (not willing to repent about what was done) or that the team does not want to publicly severe all ties with the past and make some efforts to somehow openly deal with that situation to the benefit (and not losses) of the buyers.

Just a few years ago, the development crew admitted that it is not "in their interests" to judge about the past things.

It may be read as the indirect acknowledgment of what was done.

An excerpt from the correspondence, put online by someone, which took place a few years ago with the developers:

"Good afternoon,

I was hoping to hear more details about the developers of ByteCoin.
There are rumors and fear being spread around online saying that
basically 80% of the ByteCoins were ninja-mined from 2012 up until BCN's
recent "public release". I'm not sure how a cryptocoin is supposed to
survive if it was mined to 80% by a smaller group of people. I can
confirm on the blockchain that 83% of the coins are mined already, but I
was wondering if CryptoNote had any historical information or more
details about working with ByteCoin devs? Who and how many people
actually mined these 154 billion coins?

Thank you for your time,
*****
Dear *****,
It is not of our interest to judge the decisions of Bytecoin developers and its outcomes...."

https://www.reddit.com/r/BytecoinBCN/comments/6cxz55/going_down_the_rabbit_hole_an_exploration_of/

Must it not be in the interest of the developpers to speak up (through their representatives) openly and meaninfully, in detail, about what was done, or what was not done, and why?

Now, the point is:

what has the bytecoin team done to deal with the problems of the past since its reappearance in May and midsummer?

you seem to follow this coin, and its short comings. My question to you, can I trust the code?

Dear sqbit,

I really appreciate your small “dirty’’ PR efforts for us. “The history of PR is a history of a battle”

But I have just one question.
How long are you going to reproach us with the link and information dated 3 years ago? It's silly!  Why didn’t you find smth new? It would help you to scare off the newbies.
If you claim that BCN is a scam. What r you even doing here?

As I promised to the Dx user in Telegram ( You should join our channel and meet him personally as haters should hate together) I’ll write a huge refutation of all this paranoic article from 2014 to explain to the users that it was just a competitor's back-door actions (not willing to repeat who it was).

Stay tuned if you wanna know the TRUTH!

Cheers,
Jenny G

Hey "Jenny G" - I look forward to hearing your TRUTH - Maybe I'll remove the negative trust I gave you... Also, why should anyone find anything "new"?? You need to account for the scammery of old, before the scammery of new. Tongue

BTW- I know BCN is a scam - I follow it because I'm waiting for some answers to the questions you all seem not to care about answering.

Anyhow, waiting on your "TRUTH".... Have at it, you have a LOT of stuff from that "old" post to refute, especially the changing of the dates on the whitepapers etc  Roll Eyes

write a huge refutation

The lady doth protest too much, methinks

Spare us the "huge refutation" and simply provide simple, clear, verifiable evidence that BCN existed prior to late 2013 or early 2014, and that the blockchain wasn't faked to hide a fraudulent 80% premine. Or GTFO.

Verifiable evidence meaning credible independently-archived and independently-timestamped online material, a well-known credible individual with a reputation attesting to it, etc.

You can't, and you won't, because you are full of shit. The latest in the long line of paid shills (or, more likely, the latest in a long line of invented sock puppet personas run by the same crew of scammers).

Can you provide proof supporting your statements? Even if Bytecoin was mined by the "team" while kept private ( unreleased) was their choice, nowadays ICO's are used to sell high technological improvements on top of a blockchain ( mostly Ethereum) ,

Honestly I hate ICO's ( yes they can be a great currency making opportunity), however, I rather create a blockchain framework ( minable coin) and mine it for a while. Something never seen before such as Bytecoin must be rewarded for that, I truly believe you have the same ideological and type of behavior BCN team has, privacy. Both Monero and Bytecoin share this concern, protect people's privacy, notice blockchain's are not only a currency, they are money.

As you might already know money is different from currency, I want to live in a world where people spend money and not currency, seeing to world spending money means unity.

This is an open forum where contrary perspectives can be heard from. If you don't like that, create a self-moderated thread or run your own forum where you can censor criticism. There is a reason both are associated with scammers. If anything, one of the few non-scammy things BCN ever did was create a non-self-moderated ANN thread. With that you get an open forum. Deal with it.

Quote
, stop using this language of hate

Labeling criticism and evidence of blatant fraud and scamming as 'hate' is a weak argument. But there are no strong arguments to be had here, so perhaps that is to be understood.

Quote
and they said they will answer

They said they will write a "long refutation" which is a synonym for obfuscation. If it were possible to provide clear and simple facts to support their story they could simply do so without making it long, convoluted, and likely veering into attacks against the motivations of others and other forms of non-factual rhetoric. But they can't and won't. Rather than clear unobfuscated facts, it will be more bullshit from people who have consistently and repeatedly tried to bullshit this community since March 2013.

Why do we have to wait so long for the simple answers? The devs should communicate more regularly with the community if they are serious about this coin.

And here comes a very interesting thing. As you know, it is to no one's interest, that is, no one in his right mind will officially invite the haters to the community that they may jointly, with great hatred and ill-founded accusations, operate against the others, disrupting the order and the community.

So, there may be something else here, and if we reject any supposition of the unhealthy mental states, behind the direct invitation of the alleged (not proven) hater to join the official telegram channel, the invitation issued by the official BCN representative.

In the telegram the community is very friendly. In the telegram, you can debate, and let the haters know that we are not bad guys. Just in a telegram you can discuss news that quickly appear in the channel.  On the forum it's not convenient. There will be a lot of messages generated. No need to play with words. I, too, like I expect a lot from the whole team of Bytecoin, refutation.
Sorry for my English.
