Is it still interesting to mine Bytecoin for Minergate? I thought this coin was dead, but incredibly it turned out differently!

It depends on how much you could mine, but I would suggest to spare some to buy as the price still cheap and sell later when you are satisfied.

Ever since Bytecoin has awakened on Poloniex the price range to liquidity ratio has been interesting.

Take a look at Monero for example. A lot of on-the-books orders. Usually over a 1000 BTC at a given moment.

Bytecoin of late? Maybe 300 BTC.

But the prices are more spread out with Monero.

Bytecoin is much tighter. Large orders for fewer price ranges.

I think this has been discussed before as a way to help stabilize the values.

Maybe it keeps the whales playing with the coins that put the decimal point farther left.

Except lately I see huge orders 17+ BTC at a time, for BCN.

That's over $40,000 in one whack? And the BCN values barely noticed.

Compared to the stock market, this is peanuts, but in this venue?

Pretty significant.

Bytecoin is surging again.

Wonder if it will hold...on Poloniex.

Lately, https://coinmarketcap.com/ has been slow on the uptake or Poly is slow.

What is the max that can be sent from a Bytecoin wallet?

I don't think that there is a maximum limit to the amount as long as you have it.

tried to send 50,000 it hang for about three Minuets then say too large

Which version are you using? I had a transaction with a larger amount before and it was sent properly.

I think it may have said that your "mix-in" was too large?  Try lowering your anonymity level with the slider under the fee area.

I prefer the persons working on the code to be unknown, unreachable, untouchable. Now with all of that ya ya ya is the code sound, is there enough people digging into it to find flows and make those flaws known, is it living up to its untraceable feature (like cash). If that discussion cant happen here where can I find it? You will always have speculators nothing wrong with that just from time to time lets talk about its technical capabilities. Cuss about that sometimes.
