try some pool (check the first page of this thread) the easiest is minergate for beginners... or write help in deamon and follow the instruction for sigle mining ...

Another noob question, sorry guys....I have been using BCN for several months now and doing fine trading on Poloniex, however the past few days I am not seeing my sent transactions show up at Polo, and yes I am using tx id's, I also am receiving tx's from minergate to Polo just fine. It seems that I am just not receiving coins from my wallet to Polo. The amounts are considerable and I'm starting to freak!  Any suggestions as to how to remedy or track down my coins would be vey appreciated, thank you so much in advance

2. Delete p2pstate.bin

Ah thanks, that got the daemon up and running. I can't get to stage 6 of your instructions however, as when I run the (latest) wallet I'm still told: "Error: refresh failed: failed to get out indices" The hell does that even mean? I've deleted everything except the keys file, blockchain included, resynced multiple times on two different operating systems, but "failed to get out indices" error from the wallet, and this error from the daemon:

Red strings from the daemon have nothing common with your problem. Just don't worry about them.
However, you have troubles with the wallet itself. Please, show me the log of wallet start so I can see what's going on.

First of all, what Bytecoin version are you using? There were problems with some transactions previously, but this was fixed already. If your daemon is outdated the transactions might have simply got stuck in the tx pool of your daemon and are not relayed. After the update it will automatically filter all stuck transactions and you'll be able to see the coins back in your wallet.

Secondly, do you know the tx hash of the sent transactions? Try finding it in the block explorer: https://minergate.com/blockchain/bcn/blocks If they're there you'd better ask Poloniex, what happened to your deposit.

I've been notified by the developers that this was an issue with the downloadable blockchain that was corrupt. The new one is already on the website.

Here's how to fix the problem.

1.Delete the files:
blocksindexes.dat
blocks.dat
blockscache.dat
p2pstate.bin
poolstate.bin

2. Download and install the blockchain from http://bytecoin.org and restart the daemon.

I've been notified by the developers that this was an issue with the downloadable blockchain that was corrupt. The new one is already on the website.

Here's how to fix the problem.

1.Delete the files:
blocksindexes.dat
blocks.dat
blockscache.dat
p2pstate.bin
poolstate.bin

2. Download and install the blockchain from http://bytecoin.org and restart the daemon.

Wallets are synced now, thank you for help/advice....now will wait to see if Polo needs to resync as well which is what I assume, they have same problem

I can't get to stage 6 of your instructions however, as when I run the (latest) wallet I'm still told: "Error: refresh failed: failed to get out indices" The hell does that even mean? I've deleted everything except the keys file, blockchain included, resynced multiple times on two different operating systems, but "failed to get out indices" error from the wallet, and this error from the daemon:

Red strings from the daemon have nothing common with your problem. Just don't worry about them.
However, you have troubles with the wallet itself. Please, show me the log of wallet start so I can see what's going on.

If your withdrawal is stuck on PENDING, that means it hasn't been sent out. This is a problem on our end. I apologize for the recent trouble, I have been in contact with the dev about some issues we're having, and in the meantime I am devising workarounds. Deposits and withdrawals were just processed, but they may be a bit slow until this is completely sorted out.

I've just found that currently simplewallet can be refreshed before the block chain is fully synced (in bytecoind). Another small but great usability update from Bytecoin!
