I wonder how those who do bounties as full time are able to survive during this bear market. Because it is very difficult to find bounties which will pay you any reasonable amount these days

Tbh the dead of bounties is not because of bear market but because there are so many scam ICO and also investors not interested on invest in ICO anymore. It makes bounties become dead too, i also wonder what will these bounty hunters do with this condition, i guess they will find a job in real life.

You are right and wrong,sometimes its always better to focus on one thing than two, thinking about your job and bounty at same time will make you choose wrongly if care is not taken and bounty rewards sometimes will be way more better than your payroll

Very true. You cant rely solely on doing bounty or even trading in cryptocurrency because crypto is very risky and volatile. Life here in crypto is just like fortune, sometimes up sometimes we're down, theres no guarantee. So the very best solution is doing it past time.

Everyone here talking you cant do bounty and quit your job but I did. November 2017, I quit my job and started working bounty by February 2018. During the first months, it was difficulty as hell to earn. I would be very happy to even earn at least $20 worth of asset. But as time goes by and after completing a lot of bounties, giveaways and airdrops, I manage to sustain my family now. But here in the Philippines, we can leave a single day with only $1.50 USD worth of budget since it's a poor country. So earning $100 USD worth of asset can sustain us for a couple of weeks already. We also produce some vegetables and fruits at the garden so we can really get a good savings from it.

if we have family and depend on bounty campaign as source income this is dangerous if bounty campaign could not give us certain income.we have to work on regular job to fullfilled our needs.

I don't understand, are there people who really consider participating in bounty campaigns a job that can generate a steady income? This was possible in 2017, but everything has changed and bounty campaigns have become an additional source of income, plus they only that if you do not pay, you will only lose your time. But for a stable income you should look for other options.

Rely on bounties payment without have jobs in the real life cannot feeds your families and in 2017 might be the glory of year for bounty hunter when their payments can surpassing their salaries in the real life but the situations will not always be same and payment from bounties will not always be steady because depend on success or not those projects and from now on just makes bounties as your side jobs and you would not too dissappoint if sometimes the payment low

My advice is to just see bounties as a pass time and don't be too expectant. Find some other job that gives you money. So many factors determine if you will get good rewards from bounties. For instance, when it lists, the price is out of the control of the team (unless they decide to do a buyback which rarely happens). The price of the token can rise if there is a lot of demand for it when it lists. But most times (since the bear run) the demand is low and to make it worse, several holders set ridiculously low prices just to sell off which devalues the coin.

Another factor that determines your reward is the authenticity as well as the success of the team and its project. Many campaigns have closed down in the past after several months of working on them only to announce that they failed to raise enough funds for the project. Worse case is the team devs exit scam and no one gets paid.

Project owners can also decide to execute their "reserved rights" by changing the rules at the end of successful campaigns. Rules changes can usually mean bounty rewards are reduced, locked, subjected to uninformed KYC checks, or distributed over a very long period of time.

If you consider all this then you will see that bounty campaigns are a gamble and cannot be always relied on to provide regular income for people participating in it. Those that participated in Deex bounty campaign (which ended in January 2019) are still waiting for their rewards (3 months after) and the devs are not communicating any date for the distribution. If you ask them they will say "soon". They have been saying "soon" since January, by the way. I'm not trying to slander the project or anything. I'm just advising fellow bounty hunters to try to get something else to do that will fetch them money and not to rely too much on bounty campaigns for payments.

I really agree with you ! It is better to have a stable job in the real life, don't rely in doing bounty campaigns, for the reasons that not all bounties are successful and mostly we bounty hunters are not getting paid by the ICO development team. If you take risk on engaging your life on doing bounties , then there is a big chance for you to starve, so find some stable job and make bounties just a part time job.

Bounty are only an extra income, that you dont really depend it. So its better to have a good job while you work in the bounty. Because there are bounty are will not paid immediately, and the rewards they give is not really enough.The best you can do, if you receive a rewards just make it as a savings only or just keep it first until value is good.

Treating the bounty campaigns as a part time activity can help to be psychologically healthy. Otherwise, a bounty hunter can be stressful after the various scam bounty campaigns and wasted time. Jobless should look for the jog and it is a sick idea to live with the bounty earnings.

The problem is that there are not too many bounty campaigns, which are distributing coins that are already listed in the market. I guess the total number of such campaigns may be around 4-5. And due to the small number of campaigns, there will be a lot of users who enroll in to them. But if you don't want to take higher risks, then this is a good option.

The truth is to have a mindset that participating in bounties in this present state of the market is just a part time or extra activities that might earn reward or worthless at the end thus a jobless individual should not endeavour  to participate however during the bullish era of cryptos in 2017 some bounties were very rewarding and their projects was profitable eg oyester, hbz etc

you are right, for youtube and translator campaigns maybe getting a reward is greater than the other campaigns, but it is too difficult to be able to enter the list of participants in the campaign. moreover to choose a really good bounty and pay, it's very difficult.

It is really what you say. We should not be unemployed because our time will be wasted on useless things. As human beings who always spread benefits, we should always look for activities that can support our dreams and earn big income. We cannot just rely on crypto currency bounty campaigns. The state of the crypto currency is in a difficult time which is still struggling to raise prices. So does the bounty campaign that is at the stage of the struggle. Many bounty campaigns that are not yet clear in the future so that as bounty campaign hunters, we should not just rely on getting results from bounty campaigns. We must still have a side income to make ends meet when the bounty campaign is in a difficult time.
